On April 3, 2025 I entered into an agreement with *** **** and Cornerstone Performance Group for career coaching services. The agreement was originally for six months. However, just after 45 days into the program I suffered a life-threatening accident while hiking at altitude, wherein I lost my phone and had no way to communicate or make financial transactions for about a week. Without notice, *** terminated my access to ***************, leaving me in a lurch amid a career transition requiring this resource. *************** is Rexs primary resource for clients and includes forms, videos, networking assistance, and job information. My access to this site was included in the original payment of $2,625 for a minimum of 3 months, but was terminated prematurely denying me access to important tools and support that was supposed to be included as part of the services for which I paid, leaving me distressed and suicidal.Rex's advice was also completely outdated, especially concerning executive roles in technology, leaving the guidance I received lacking relevance or useful insight. And, despite paying for a professional resume writer, I was forced to do most of the work revising my own resume and LinkedIn profile which was shocking and time consuming. Moreover, *** was late for most of our meetings, provided minimal guidance, and did not meet the standards promised. This experience with *** **** and Cornerstone Performance Group was marked by poor communication, lack of professionalism, outdated advice and left me in a lurch following a serious accident. I request to be reconnected with *************** for 1 month and urge others seeking career consulting from professional career coaches, especially those navigating transitions in modern and emerging technology career paths, to look elsewhere.

    Business Response

***** and I have successfully resolved our mutual concerns, and specifically those he registered with the BBB. In recent resolution emails and live discussions, we mutually determined we had a misunderstanding and misinterpretation about the signs, signals, responses and intentions we unintentionally sent to one another. As a result,we successfully have outlined our path going forward and will remain working together, including extending our working relationship beyond the three-month original agreement.

    Respecfully,

    ***,

Thank you for your thoughtful and comprehensive response, and for sharing the personal circumstances that have recently affected your availability. I appreciate your transparency and the care you have shown throughout our working relationship, particularly during these challenging times.
I accept your offer to honor the 3-month coaching program, with an additional 2 weeks for our recent period without communication, up to and including July 17th. I understand and respect that after which coaching and related services will no longer be available. I am grateful for your continued support and the extension of CMS access throughout my job placement, as outlined.

Moving forward, I will remain committed to maintaining clear communication, mutual respect, and shared accountability. I recognize the value of constructive feedback and will ensure that any concerns are addressed directly and professionally. I also appreciate your assurances regarding confidentiality and your willingness to move past recent misunderstandings.

Let's reset and focus on the important work ahead. I have an interview with a recruiter in LA on Tuesday, am in the process of scheduling an interview with XXXXX  XXXXX the week of 6/23, and look forward to continuing our collaboration and preparing for a successful market re-entry.
Thank you again for your understanding and for your ongoing commitment to my professional development.

    Best regards,

    *****
