      We are filing a formal complaint against J&P Services for their unprofessional conduct and unjust billing practices. Throughout our engagement, J&P demonstrated a severe lack of communication, failed to provide clear timelines, neglected to outline job details adequately, and handled scheduling poorlyissues that ultimately led us to discontinue working with them. ****** himself acknowledged these concerns and apologized over the phone.****** demanded 30% deposit upfront, J&P is now unjustly withholding $240 for an unnecessary visit by two workers who arrived unannounced and without clear instructionsan occurrence that should never have happened before the structural engineers assessment. Furthermore, they refuse to refund the remaining balance for unfinished work unless we sign a letter stating that we changed our minds, absolving them of any liability for the work completed thus far.Additionally, we identified an overcharge on the deck work, where we were billed for five workers, but only two were actually present. These issues reflect a clear pattern of mismanagement and unfair billing practices that must be addressed.

      I am writing to report a resolution to Case: 22899568.

      We have reached an amicable agreement with J&P Services and have resolved our differing perspectives on the matter of our initial complaint and cleared up our misunderstanding around lack of communication. We regret that our relationship could not have moved forward but are grateful that J&P were willing to kindly work with us on a mutually agreed upon solution.
