March 29th of 2022 I received a semi load shipment of Alfalfa cubes I paid $****** for. I was told they would last for a year stored in a barn. May 25th of 2022 I took a set of pictures of the alfalfa cubes that molded while stored in a barn. June 6th, I contacted ***** at JLH Hay company after opening bag after bag of moldy cubes. Alfalfa already molded with 60 days of my receiving them. I contacted the company JLH Hay company who I ordered the cubes from and wired ****** to originally. ***** the owner said the manufacturer, Daurio Brothers, realized they had an issue, and changed the bagging to ventilated bags. However, he was unable to help me, and I would have to deal with the manufacturer because he only made $500 on the sale of the cubes. I made phone calls ***** or **** the owners of Daurio Brothers. They would not answer my calls until ***** advised them, they needed to call me to get this settled. Then they finally answered and said they said would replace the semi load of cubes but wanted us to pay for the shipping of the new cubes as well as the shipping to return the moldy cubes which was going to be about $2,900. However, I do not want another shipment of cubes that will likely mold again, nor do I feel it is fair for the customer to eat the shipping expense. This was not a good resolution, now the company will not even take my phone calls or respond to my emails. We have tried to call from several different numbers and they will not take our calls from the 316 area code. I have pictures with date and time stamps supporting the cubes molded so fast, videos, and a recorded phone call that JLH Hay company is still representing Daurio Brothers cubes should last 6 months (new, used to say a year-maybe the new bagging has helped?). I can attach some of the pictures with dates. I also saved my old cell phone with all the detailed records supporting my complaint.
