    I took my truck to ******** Automotive to get a service completed. I asked ******** to look at my rear brakes and the photo is attached. The brakes were never right. I took the truck back for an inoperable parking brake which took another day but as it turns out, was not correct. THIS IS A $1044 brake job - ONE axle, DRUM brakes, and Coopers would not explain it. The manager patted me on the head and essentially said "Here sucker, here is $30 off your next service" - Copper Auto stole from me - when you take another persons money and provide no service that is stealing.

    15 July 2022. My 2019 **** Escape (owned outright) was making scary noises and there was smoke in the engine so i called the nearest garage and they said they would look at it immediately to advise. I took it to them and they said the car was too dangerous to drive away and needed repairs urgently, they specifically stated the car was out of warranty to me. They said they would arrange another temporary car for me and never did but that is not relevant to this case, just more lies. I dealt entirely with a man named ***** on this day.20 July 2022. They called and asked me to pick up the car. Today i dealt entirely with ****. The bill was an astonishing $1868.21 but i understood thats the way it goes and paid. **** then told me he felt bad and that perhaps i had been misled by ***** (apparently ***** was a new employee in the shop from the company that had recently purchased Coopers, Napa). **** told me to call **** and that more engines are warranted up to ***** miles, mine was 49000.I have subsequently called **** and found my engine was in warranty and repairs would have been free at a **** dealer, but that they cant reimburse me for third party work done. To make matters worse the third party work done on the engine actually now voids my **** warranty,I cannot tell you how unbearable this is to have been point blank deceived and lied to in this fashion, and paid such a heavy price for it. I am from the **** and was not aware of manufacturer warranties extending to ***** miles for engines, i trusted ***** when he told me the car was out of warranty. I would like to pursue Coopers for a refund given the appalling business practices they have used here.
