    September of 2021 I bought a brand new ******** ******** 170 EXT 4x4 in ******** and dropped the van off with *************************** of Satsang Vanworks for him to convert to my dream home and business on wheels. I paid him a total of $175,000.00 over the course of a year and a half. He said it would only take 2 months to complete but he never intended on completing it. He lied and never even ordered the parts! He kept coming up with excuses until I finally went to India and was waiting there. My van is registered in ** and I've been paying insurance on it the entire time it sat on his outdoor lot. I made payments from CO, **, and even from India. When I returned from India he still hadn't made any progress and never even ordered the parts! I even paid for the wood flooring despite giving him an enormous amount of money but it was only $213 so I didn't complain but it seemed wrong. ******* had my van in his possession for a year and a half and according to another van company only completed $20K worth of parts and labor total. I have been homeless for nearly 2 years since he told me it would only take 2 months. I didn't have enough money in my savings to sustain myself so long and was never stable enough to generate income. This has ruined my life!!! I trusted ******* because he portrayed himself as an honest yogi and promised that if I ever didn't feel good about him doing the job he would refund my money. He even named his company a Sanskrit word meaning ****** Community and being a yoga teacher I totally fell for his faade! I've learned that he has also scammed others before fleeing the ***************** to hide in **********!******* never even ordered the parts! When I tried to talk to ******* in person, he became aggressive and intimidated me. He refused to give me my money back or work on the van. I came back with an officer so he wouldn't bully me but that didn't work. He said to get a mediator so I did. ******* continued to make excuses until he finally fled.
