    I enrolled in the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design last Spring. I read up on it and thought it was a good and fair school. They acceptance rate is presumed to be 100 percent. It also states on their website that the classes are easier than we think. Last Fall, I was enrolled in their Freshman Drawing Portfolio for Illustrators class. The class is pass/fail. Now my former adviser told me I have nothing to worry about as long as the we do the work the way it should be done. When we do that, some of us still fail the review. I work my hardest on my portfolio review in order to pass the class. I put in all the effort yet the review committee who review the students portfolios determine whether or not the they pass or fail the course. I took the course twice because obviously I failed the review twice. Now on the class content web page. It stated that if your work is excellent you score a 4. If your work is good, you score a 3, if it is satisfactory, you score a 2. However, if you score a 1, your work is bad which means the student put in little or no effort. No matter how good your work is, if they find one or two nooks and crannies, they fail a student. They make out like illustration is that hard and challenging of a field. I believe the staff at ***** is making it hard and are causing students to drop out or transfer to another college. This whole thing is completely wrong and it is ridiculous.
