      I am stating this issue as occurring in the last 12 months because of the mechanical ************************ of A&W **************************** filed on my home. **** did furnace duct work on my home in 2016. He was recommended by a neighbor. He said he was licensed. He sent his worker to replace the ducts from the furnace and put them in the ceiling. After 4 hours of work, I came home to find that his worker used flex duct that looked like garbage bags. It was duct taped to surfaces in the ceiling and had a few holes already in it. I researched the material and found that this is mainly used for attic use and is not to be enclosed in walls or ceilings. His worker was supposed to return to finish the work but we opted to not continue and asked a licensed HVAC person to look at it who verified that this was not code. We got estimates to redo this work right and to remove the flex duct and then hired the licensed HVAC man (**************) to redo the work using metal ducts. After that ********************* filed a lien for non payment. We did pay **** $300 for a making a hole vent in our bathroom. After talking to a lawyer I was told that after ********************* filed a lien, he was supposed to file a court case within 6 months which he didn't. After that the lien is considered void. ********************* never removed the lien. As a non-licensed company at the time of work he did not represent himself honestly and has not removed his mechanical lien after failing to file a civil court case.
