      I paid $30,000 for a new roof last July through August. I have permit #BP-22-03258 issued 8/3/2022 for a mid roof inspection. I can't get MAXX ROOF LLC to send me the affidavit. I sent it to Al **** two months ago. He is ignoring me. I asked ********** to extend the deadline. I need help getting the affidavit from Al ****.

      His response is not honest.

      I would like to reopen this case and add this sent email as evidence.

      On June 30, 2021, I contracted with Maxx Roof to replace damaged roof ridge caps. I worked with *********************, who was very professional and pleasant. Work was done during the summer 2021. However, the company was unable to complete a small portion of the damaged roof due to supply chain problems for the ********** materials that matched my roof. I understand that supply issue was beyond their control. In August 2021, I paid all but $50.00 of the contract price.In spring 2022, I called ****** several times about the unfinished roof repair; I received no return calls. Then, I called 2 additional company listed phone numbers and left messages about the unfinished work. To date, I have received no return calls.I would like the job to be finished. I am concerned that Maxx Roof may have gone out of business.

      Supply issues have been a very real and frustrating thing for our business as well. For quite a while manufacturers were only making the most common shingle and colors due to issues. The shingle the ****** have is a high-end shingle ridge cap that is very limited. When we started the repair, I bought all the bundles that were in the whole *****************.  After getting this complaint, I pushed until I got the main supply rep for the country for GAF. A bundle is being expressed to my local supplier for pickup today. I will coordinate with my roofing ******* to go get this completed. 

      I apologize about any lack of response as that is not tolerated within our organization. This angers me alot that this issue got the ****** upset to the point the felt their only recourse was this complaint. Please note, our main phone number has changed to ************ as is on our website at www.maxxroof.com   That may have been part of the problem. **** also is no longer working Maxx Roof in ******** either. I apologize for this and will Get handled right away once the shingles are picked up. We will not collect the final $50 left of the repair quote either as I will credit that to the invoice for this inconvenience. Thank You

      To Al ***** I appreciate your prompt reply to my BBB complaint.  FYI:  I would add that in spring 2022, I called ********************* several times at ************ and called that number  again today.  The recording on that number STILL says it is ****'s number and he works for Maxx Roof.  In late July 2022, I twice called the phone # on the invoice *************) and left a message for *********  I also left a message at ************, but I am not sure where I got that number.

      Anyway, I am sure we both will be glad to see the end of this project, and I will gladly pay the final $50.00.  I realize it is a small project and am glad to work with the project manager/coordinator on scheduling.
