The vehicle repairs were not completed. $12,670.78 has been paid to *************************** for labor and repair. But, he would never give me an itemized list of what had been done or purchased for the vehicle. I finally said enough as there is absolutely NO trust in anything he says. He claimed to be an expert on European vehicles when I originally took the vehicle to him for 2 complaints-the parking brake was stuck on and the vehicle needed to pass local emission testing. During the 50 weeks he had the vehicle, he would call during the first few months saying it needed other things and ask for parts money, which included, but not limited to, 2 sizes of motor fans, 4 oxygen censors, 2 catalytic converters, motor, oil/filter change. Each time money was paid for parts, additional labor was asked for. The motor was paid for directly by me then delivered to him. Finally, after 3 months of no response from him, we were told by the Sheriff's Officer we could get the vehicle, but it would need towed, which was 1/23/2023. The last heard from ****** was Nov 2022 asking if I had another key because he lost it. To get a key, I had to pay ~$700-key, programming and tow to a dealer. Upon getting the key, it was found the vehicle had been driven ~980 miles while in his possession. The known paid for parts are not on the vehicle--oxygen sensors, catalytic converters, new oil/filter. Don't know if the motor was actually installed. He had another similar personal vehicle that he stated needed a lot of parts and work. THAT is not my responsibility! I currently have the vehicle at the dealer. I do not know what *********************** did to my vehicle--it appears nothing for the $12,670.78 I paid him. His business is registered with the Secretary of State, but he always had me write the checks to him personally, ***********************. His name on the *** shows ***********************************, with a company name Fixeurocars.com llc. This is felony theft and fraud, not to a small scale. Vehicle is worse than before!
