  An unmitigated disaster. It began with the designer, ****, who assured us from the outset the job would be done professionally because all of their work was done "in house" (everyone was an employee). THIS WAS A TOTAL LIE!!!! Every person who worked on this bath to shower conversion was a subcontractor. Communication with the company was incredibly consistent---i.e., ATROCIOUS. I repeatedly texted **** throughout the course of a week with no response. When he finally texted back, he indicated he and his family were sick. ****, the first assigned project manager, also did not respond to multiple texts over the course of a week. As with ****, he finally told us he was sick Finally, a date was set to begin the project. Waited several hours on the assigned date, and no one showed up. **** forgot to tell us that no one was coming. We were told he was subsequently terminated.I called the office directly and asked to speak to the owner, ******. He never returned my call. Several weeks later the receptionist informed me the owner had sold the company to one of the employees, *****.Met with ***** to go over the project. He stated he "knew everything about it (the project)". He knew nothing of the multiple changes we had made since the first meeting with ****. He stated it would probably be completed in 2 weeks. (IT TOOK 6 MONTHS!!!!!!!!)Had to ask ***** if we were ever going to have a starting date. He stated we would receive a starting date as soon as all the tile had arrived. 4 days later, 10 minutes before I was planning to leave the house, a crew showed up. NOBODY, INCLUDING *****, EVER NOTIFIED US OF THE START DATE.I sent an email to ***** detailing the chronic and deplorable communications. He never responded. Two days later when he showed up at the job site. there was no apology, and he barely spoke. It went on, and on, and on, and on like this. The ONLY good thing about this nightmare was each subcontractor did an excellent job.
