On Sept 7 2022 I shipped a package with **** It was a somewhat rare car part that I sold for $300. Shipping and insurance we $136.42. On Sept 21 the buyer contacted my saying the package had no arrived. I checked with the store and they said they would start an investigation. On Sept 28, after being informed that they still couldn't find the package, I asked to start a claim on the insurance I bought. I was asked to provide a lot of information. I sent pictures of the package, PayPal receipts, and screenshots of the deal I made with the buyer.Last week I was told that "they" didn't accept my claim. I contacted *** via ******** Messenger and was told my claim was marked closed. So I have no package, no money, and I need to issue a refund to the buyer.

We are continuing to work on this claim. *** is telling us that because the *** Store did not pack this item, that it does not qualify for the "pack and ship" guarantee. Our contention is that they lost the package, it was not damaged. We have assessed that the customers packaging indicates that it was packed very well and should meet the criteria even though the item was customer packed. Please note that *** and *** Store are separate companies.

Because we work as a middleman in this case, it would be important for the customer to also get involved by contacting *** corporate and make them aware of the problem.

This matter is not resolved. Im sorry, I cant find a way to respond to the message on your site.

If they cant insure items they dont pack then they shouldnt offer to sell the insurance! This has been a nightmare and they are not helping. Ive found literally thousands of similar complaints. Someone needs to look into this, not just for my case, but the entire company. Theyre ripping of thousands of people!
