    We had *** come out yesterday (11/10/2024) to replace the harness on our trucks alternator. He originally quoted us $700 on 11/9/2024, which we said was too steep for us at this time and asked for recommendations on other mechanics. He then say he could do it it for $400 if we paid in cash. We scraped some money up and asked if he could come by the next morning (11/10). He said he would be here at 9am. 9am the next morning rolls around and he still isn't here because he was running behind but did arrive an hour later at 10am.He spent a little less than two hours to install the part, with a loose wire that he wasn't sure what it went to, but said it shouldn't be a big deal. The truck still wasn't starting, so he suspected it was another issue and said he would run to Advanced Autoparts to grab this new part and get lunch, then he would be back to install this new part. He left around noon, at 2pm we started to get worried that he wouldn't come back so we tried texting. He read the message but didn't respond. At 3pm I called him from a different number and he answered, as soon as I explained who I was he hung up and blocked me. So we went to ****** to write a bad review as he said he would do something and come back and he acted completely unprofessionally and we wanted to make others aware before giving him $400 for two hours of work. Later that evening he unblocked me and reached out saying he would send the money back to us via venmo or zelle because he didn't want any other reviews posted. I asked him to send money asap because we now need to hire someone else to finish the job. He then tried to say he could try and figure the engine out. I said I didn't want to work with him any further, as he broke his word and I can no longer trust him. This morning (11/11/2024) he messages me and says that he can't send the money because he already sent it. This is now the second time he has gone back on his word. We need help **** to get this resolved.
