      I received treatment from Functional Performance Center for 14 sessions between 1/23-3/9/2023. The office manager, after having checked my insurance, informed me that my coinsurance would be $68 until my deductible was met then roughly $14-16 thereafter. My deductible of $250 was met well before seeking treatment yet I was charged $68 for all 14 sessions. When I expressed concern to the billing manager and office manager, the billing manager informed me that the front desk had made an error with the charges but I'd have to wait until my insurance fully processed all claims. Despite acknowledging I was grossly overcharged for services, the billing manager has refused to refund me.

      Good morning.

       

      My complaint has now been resolved. The owner of the practice intervened and refunded my overpayment. I'm very satisfied with this response.
