We went with MaxxTech because we really liked the owner, **** and the fact he was licensed but when the day came for them to do the work 5 trainees showed up. They told us they were going to s**** in our pig tail wires, when we told **** we had done a few ourselves and it was a pain he said Oh thats the only way, you gotta do it that way. Too bad his trainees didnt feel that way, they took a shortcut and just stuck the wires into tiny little holes; less than a year later they are coming undone and we have to re-pay for another company to come out and fix this. To add insult to injury of them not doing what they said they were going to do, they did not clean up after any of the work. **** was apologetic but did not remedy the situation at all. They put in our outside outlet backwards so I also need to pay for that to get re-done. On top of that **** told us we did not need to pigtail our dishwasher and this morning we woke up to what couldve been a fire, had we not smelled the melting wires. The fact we paid for work that was not done properly really angers me- also the fact that we paid for a master electrician and got trainees felt like a bait and switch.

      Hi,

I have received your complaint and I sincerely wish your experience with our services had been more to your satisfaction. There are a few items in the complaint I have to address. First, when it comes to s******* the wires down, I dont agree that was part of our discussion. Your misunderstanding that I said the aluminum could not be stabbed in. Either way, backstabbing copper conductors into new outlets is a UL listed and common practice in the industry, and is how we do all our outlet wiring. Second, I showed up multiple times throughout the day to go over the work my electricians were installing. I told them to leave the plugs hanging out of the wall so I could inspect them before they screwed them in, which I did. Third, I told your husband when he was asking if we would wire the dishwasher that I would have to reroute the wire into the cabinet and install a new plug and that it was against code to hardwire it. We refused to hardwire it and we left it to you to decide how you wanted it hooked up. I reviewed all the invoices and you were never given a qoute to even wire the dishwasher, nor did you ever pay us to do it because we told you we couldnt unless you wanted us to fix it up right. The response that was given back to us was that you were planning a kitchen remodel soon and would deal with it then, so I dont understand how that is falling back on me in your complaint. Im not sure what you mean by the outdoor outlet is backwards. I communicated with you and offered to fix it under your warranty and you told me not to worry about it. Lastly, your project is still under warranty and any issues you think you are having could easily have been handled under that warranty. I 100% stand behind my work at your property and can back it up with the estimates, invoices, installation instruction literature and *** codes. I also believe we handled the original problem with the little bit of mess we left the first trip out and made it a major point to be very mindful of cleaning up on our follow up visits. You never mentioned any other issues with that until now. Again, I apologize that you feel we did not provide a valuable service. However, we stand behind our work and feel confident we provided top notch service and installation. You may reach out and use your 1 year warranty to address any issues on work still within that timeframe as long as no other person has messed with that work. Thanks!

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is un-satisfactory to me however I will close this complaint and just write your business a one star because you are a liar, and you do not stand behind your work. This is the first we are hearing about your one-year warranty. As a matter fact we contacted you about work your team did it took two weeks for someone to get back to us and when they finally did they told us it was gonna be $99 an hour to troubleshoot.

Cleaning up and doing your job properly one time does not excuse not cleaning up and not doing your job properly other times. you have earned your one star review with us on multiple platforms, and we will tell everybody in our neighborhood not to use your business, because you are not ethical and you do not stand behind your work.

by the way, the new Electrician we found fix it within five minutes. I didnt even charge us and hes the one that brought to her attention that you guys did in fact, take shortcuts.

      Sincerely,
