**** (the parent company located in **) needs to be held responsible for the mismanagement of their billing and insurance processes.I have spent HOURS on the phone and sifting through documents trying to get information from the **** facility I received care from in ****** VA. I have spent HOURS on the phone with my insurance. All trying to make sure that my account is accurate and that my claims are properly processed. **** uses multiple providers, outside their practice, to provide *** to patients. Some of those other providers (**** Genetics, Anesthesia, etc.) are in network and some are out of network with insurance. The whole billing and insurance process is MADDENING. We have spent thousands of dollars on treatment, largely uninformed of costs and how insurance would cover. When we asked for itemized receipts and other necessary information, it took **** months to provide the info and then it wasnt even accurate.**** is highly unresponsive and disorganized with regard to billing and insurance filing. We may seek legal damages for suffering and time lost in this whole ordeal. It has been absurd.

The onboarding process is a nightmare. Before contacting them, I made sure that the doctors were in-network with my insurance, I checked procedure costs to make sure they'd be covered, etc. I provided my full insurance information at intake, filled out over 20 pages of medical history forms, signed numerous forms, and spent over an hour on the phone after they didn't save my credit card information and cancelled my first appointment for not having a card on file (even though they could see that one had been provided). My partner jumped through all the same hoops on his end, and we thought we might finally be getting somewhere.FINALLY, once everything is done and we have mentally and financially prepared ourselves to drop $20k, I get a message 3 business days before my appointment to let me know that they actually don't work with my insurance at all, so payment IN FULL will be due at the time of service, for which I am 100% responsible. I will forever take my business and my money elsewhere, because this many problems this early in the process is a clear sign of disreputable business practices. There's a reason why their own CCRM fertility group members go on and on about how awful the billing department is, how often they see fraudulent charges popping up on medical bills, etc. What's insane is that EVERY. SINGLE. DOCTOR working at **** is listed as a provider through my insurance (*********), and all of them are recommended providers! It's literally insane that all of them would be confirmed as in-network, but then **** staff would claim that NOTHING (not the doctors, not the lab, not the procedures) would work with my insurance and I would have to pay 100% on my own. Their website says that they work with insurance, but this is an obvious lie. They are claiming to accept all these difference insurances, using the insurance companies to funnel business their way, and then claiming NOT to work with them just to turn a quick buck.False advertising, all the way.

Between the months of October 2023 and March 2024 I went through 2 rounds of egg freezing through the *************** of ************ Medicine (CCRM). I have paid over $15,000 out of pocket to-date. As a result of CCRM negligent financial practices I still have not seen any reimbursement come through despite benefit coverage from my employer.I had already started the process of taking hormone pills in December 2023. The first round of my egg retrieval was targeted for the first week of January. On December 26, 2023 (about a week from my shot start date); I received a message from CCRM Finance team saying that I would have to pay everything up front since they are unable to confirm my insurance participation. I had already taken started the process through hormone medications, so I decided to pay that money up front and wait for an itemized receipt to submit to my insurance provider, BCBS. Despite more than 20 hours on the phone, over 15 call attempts to the finance department at **** between I have yet to receive any reimbursement from either round of egg freezing. I have attempted several calls with insurance and CCRM to understand the status of reimbursement. The finance team at **** has failed to provide timely information (I was often waiting 2+ weeks for responses even though their messages say they will respond in 24 hours); they failed to fully explain the billing process once I signed my contract, and they have been uncooperative when trying to get detailed billing information for my insurance. This has been a difficult process to do alone, particularly when reproductive rights are such a big issue in today's society. The lack of information from CCRM Finance, the negligence in communication and replies, plus the amount of time I have gone without any re-payment is despicable. In looking at reviews for CCRM I know this is a broader trend with their finance team. I have supporting materials to provide upon request, but would recommend action be taken.

I have left at least a dozen voicemails and a number of emails since January and no one will return them. I received a bill for $850 and all I am trying to do is get my insurance billed to cover the cost. I emailed them my insurance information and yet no one will bill insurance or return phone calls. Horrible unprofessionalism costing patients unnecessary money. I JUST WANT A CALL BACK

I am being charged $850 for a service that I have not requested or asked. I keep getting payment due emails and letters asking to pay or it will impact my credit score. I have called CCRM financial services at least 50 times in last 4 months and emailed nurses with all documents they have requested in addition to meeting with ************* confirming decision to refuse the service. The financial team at CCRM refuses to update my record or respond to my emails or voice messages. Record # ******
