      We were referred to True Lies Investigations by a retired PI. We wanted to investigate if former employees had stolen equipment from our small business. We met with True Lies in October of 2023 and paid a deposit. From there things went quickly downhill. We had to e-mail them multiple times to get any sort of update prior to the end of 2023. The update that they reviewed with us contained commonly available information that can be found on the internet, it was obvious that no real investigation had been completed. We again had to e-mail multiple times in January of **** and received an update in mid-January with a promise to provide a more thorough update around January 22nd of ****. It is now February 8th, we have e-mailed them twice and have not received any update. By now any missing equipment has been sold and any opportunity we had of retrieving it is gone, along with our deposit to True Lies.

      Great customer service in the beginning (initial consultation) - nice, explained service, signed contract for service. Paid the upfront fee. Then, dark.Never heard from them about the progress of service, or not, for several weeks. I had to call to find out - say they are moving along. Then nothing.. A few weeks later, called again - say they are moving along.Then dark - no word.The contract says they will send a report if requested. Three weeks ago I requested twice - once on their website and again directly with email. Nothing.I'll be calling today.
