    I went in for the first time ever to be seen here. They gave paperwork to sign. There was one paper that asked for permission to use a specific tool that was not covered by insurance. I signed that paperwork NO! I also told the MA I did not give consent or want that done as it would not be covered and I could not pay it. The doctor came in and looked in my nose with 2 tools, one which was the one I said NO to! Now they sent it into insurance and sure enough I will owe over $200 for this when i told them no. The doctor was not direct and did not tell me this was what she was going to do anyways or i would have walked out. Healthcare should be provided where you cant trust them and they listen to you.

    I have enclosed supporting documentation.

    The patient is correct in that She wrote no on our diagnostic scope policy. The policy also has an I accept checked. The false positive documentation was not thoroughly reviewed to prevent this error. We will not charge her or her insurance company for the nasal endoscopy performed on 10/30/2024.

    This information was sent to the patient, and we have resolve this to her satisfaction.
