    I hired Horizon in January to clean my dryer vents, and the dryer worked fine for about five months. When the issue returned in May, I called them back. This time, the owner believed the problem was with the heating coils and charged me $302 for the replacement.Unfortunately, after they left, the dryer still didnt workand Im not sure they even tested it. I followed up multiple times to let them know the issue wasnt resolved. They scheduled another visit, but no one showed up. I called the owner, who said hed check on the technician and get back to me, but I didnt hear back until I followed up again the next morning.They eventually returned but said they couldnt fix the issue. I ended up hiring Dryer Vent Wizard (*****, who was professional and thorough), and he found the vent was still clogged with lint. After his service, the dryer finally worked again.When I asked Horizon for a refund, the owner initially agreed to refund the dryer vent cleaning, which I appreciated. However, I still havent been refunded for the coil replacementwhich Im not convinced was necessary, given the root issue turned out to be a blocked vent.This seems to be a family-run business with good intentions, but my experience with communication, follow-through, and diagnosing the issue was frustrating. I wont be using them again. If you look through other reviews, youll see Im not alonemissed appointments and poor communication seem to be a recurring issue.

    We'd like to clarify a few points. The heating coils in your dryer were tested and found to be faulty at the time of service, and we stand by that diagnosis and the work performed. Those parts were installed as agreed upon, and their replacement was necessary based on the condition we observed.

    That said, we recognize that your dryer issues were not fully resolved after our visit, and we genuinely regret the frustration that caused. When it became clear that we were unable to complete the vent cleaning to our standards due to access and blockage complications, we issued a full refund for that portion of the service.

    We understand your concerns and appreciate your feedback. It's never our intention to leave a customer dissatisfied, and we are taking your experience to heart as we work to improve communication and follow-through in situations like this.

    Didn't fix my broken dishwasher. *** told me it was all fixed but it wasn't ****** missed three appointments.Now my sink is backing up , the dw makes different sounds and the door doesn't close .First call April 23, 2024. Today is June 8, 2024. Worse off that when Icalled for help.

    Horrible experience. We were assigned this company through our home warranty company for a leaky refrigerator. They charged my mom (who was home at the time of service) on top of the fee we had already paid through the warranty company, and ghosted when we tried to get a refund. After numerous phone calls, emails and text messages with no response, my mom tried to dispute the payment with the bank but they couldn't get a hold of them either and declined to refute the payment since they couldn't get "the other side." Then, six months later, our fridge started leaking again. When the new technician from a different company came, he said Horizon had never actually fixed the problem in the first place.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I have similar complaints to other customers below. ****** (owner) is a liar and a thief. He charged us $1600 for stove parts in early April. The parts were initially scheduled to be delivered May 1, then they got pushed to May 15, then May 30, then June, then July, until we finally realized the parts were likely never coming. Every other week we got the same response and he has now led us on for months saying the parts had arrived in the US, that he could see the tracking info and we'd schedule repairs as soon as he received them in person. Four and half months later, still nothing. We asked for a refund, which he claimed would be processed that day (**** days for it to appear in our account), but would include a cancellation fee. Two weeks have past since then and we have yet to receive any of our money back or a follow **. In short, close to 5 months after initially contacting Horizon, we still have a broken stove, no refund for the $1,600 in parts that never came, and not even an apology. I wish I had read these reviews before hand given the number of similar complaints.
