December 6th I took my 04 Olds Bravada to this shop for a new transfer ****************** promised they're ready & equipped for the job. You will always have to chase this shop for any answer, I call & **** says not to, that he will call me.Apperently there was a problem with the 1st transfer case- Two weeks later, nothing. I call & call & finally realize he's blocked my number. At this point ***'s auto has my truck for 2 weeks with no way to get ahold of them, they close the shop early so I can't stop by for answers, practically stolen at this point. I called the police & was informed they get a lot of calls about this ***** ****** advise me to call back when I get ahold of them, as they did not reach back out to the police when the officer left a message. Finally today comes, they say the front differential is bad but it's drivable while it's disengaged until I get a new one. I go get it, side swipes on the passenger rear side of my vehicle, never ever there before (photos were taken). I point this out, a mechanic says it's been up in the air the whole time & to call ********* which is not true because I drove by multiple times seeing it in the over crowded lot. Next, I turn it on & I've been new dash lights. ************* lights. I pull the same mechanic out again & he says no clue, call ****... again. Only after being called out via the phone does he come out with ****, ask me to pop the hood & start trying to fix things. **** says he'll need to pull it back in & check it- as if he needs MORE time with my vehicle. They we're definitely expecting me to just pick it up & leave, not say anything about the body damage & dash lights. after insisting they go over my vehicle again due to the new lights, **** informed me it was "just out of break fluid". When trying to undo our deal & get my money back, **** gave me the wrong part from a different car. I cannot turn this part in for a core replacement. This shop has been committing fraud.

**** & I had a deal that he would return my money if I brought him his transfer case back & I got mine, as well. The $990.21 was returned to me via check from ****, but when I got what was supposed to be my original transfer case back, it wasn't even for the right model making it absolutely unusable. This caused me to be unable to use it for a core fee, forcing me to have to pay out of pocket for a new transfer case again. At the new shop my truck went to, ******** Axel & Gear, the owner, ** found that the last place (Rob's Auto Repair) to work on my truck purposefully removed a seal from my front differential & put the s**** back in. This caused the front differential to lose all fluid & completely destroyed it. It was not shocking to hear this as **** also tried to sell me one. I never had an issue before **** mentioned it, & he showed extreme anger & dissatisfaction when I told him I no longer trust him with my truck due to the incessant discrepancies, I'd be taking my business elsewhere. **** returned my truck in worse condition than when it went in, it was undrivable as all the brake fluid was drained (**** admitted to that himself) & that he disconnected my front differential. ** has offered to testify on my behalf regarding these claims. ****'s extreme negligence led to my front differential being irreparably destroyed, forcing me to replace it. The updated amount of damages I am seeking is $2,556.13 for everything that had to be done to attempt to remedy my vehicle after ****'s purposeful neglect.

I am rejecting this response because: *** demonstrated neglect to my vehicle when he (without my instruction or permission) dissected my front differential, purposely removing the seal allowing my front differential to destroy itself. The shop owner at ******** Axel & Tire who fixed this will be a witness to this in small claims court. As well as returning the vehicle to me with a side swipe on the rear passenger side, I mentioned this immediately to ***** an employee. The vehicle was also returned without brake fluid, and the front differential completely disconnected rendering it severely damaged & unable to drive. I have requested the updated amount of $2556.13 to replace the front differential & transfer case due to **** blatant scam and spiteful negligence.

    Sincerely,

I dropped my vehicle off at Robs Automotive at the end of April/first week of May. I have diagnostics from a previous mechanic that states that all I needed was a timing gasket/cover, thats what I went to Robs for. After **** had my car for a month, *** (shop owner) told me that they wanted to bring my car back in a couple of weeks because they werent confident in the job they did. I had my car for two days then black oil spilled out everywhere and my car died. The technicians did not put any new oil in my car. When I brought my car back to ****, I was told by *** that they fabricated the part themselves and rushed me out of the shop. After months of waiting for them to start working on my car again, they worked on my car for 15 days before they stopped working on it and had it towed to a different mechanic shop. The diagnostics ran by new the shop shows multiple code faults and my car is now inoperable. The shop that **** towed my car to towed it back to Robs since they are responsible for the damage, where it is currently sitting not being worked on. The part I needed was fabricated, causing everything else in my car to break. During the last 4 months my car has been broken, I was given a faulty unsafe loaner vehicle that had to be returned after a few weeks, Ive been ignored by the shop owner who I havent heard from in months and now only have contact with his girlfriend, Ive been cursed out and my cellphone number blocked by the mechanic for asking about my vehicle and when it would be ready, lied to repeatedly, and theyre refusing to work on my vehicle and wont take responsibility for their actions. It's been 4-5 months now so I will be getting a lawyer. I want my money back that I paid them for to fix my car, for my car to be fixed ASAP, for them to move quickly on it, and if it can't be fixed they will buy me a new car. I will consult with a lawyer to pursue even further action. I want them to stop waiting for insurance and just get it done.
