      I've had good luck with Hygiene. They don't require me to be home when they fill my tanks, they keep my credit card on file, their prices are consistently better than their competitors, and they've made minor repairs for free. Plus they show up, which is half the battle in the mountains. We often see Hygiene trucks on our road, but it does sometimes take them a week or so to get here. I've never rushed them, it's the mountains. I'm not a guy who writes reviews, but I was looking for their email address online and it surprised me to see that they had only one star. That doesn't seem right to me. *********************

      NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! We contacted Hygiene Propane as a new customer to have our tank filled in the month of December. This was a "routine" service and we were put "in line" for our propane delivery "when the driver can get around to it." Mind you, this was a very loosey goosy, non-commital, sometime in the next couple weeks sort of line. Apparently, this is the way they do business... "we'll get around to it some time in the next couple weeks but you need to give us your credit card and just, well, wait around. Though this is not even remotely acceptable as a business practice, but, we wait. THEN... the temps dropped to -24 degrees and our heater was working overtime to keep us warm. Still, we're in line for a loosey goosey delivery. Temps are dangerously cold. This is serious! I called several times to confirm our place in line. Got the same response... whatever... blah, blah, blah... We've got you card on file... Sitting here typing this, it's -20 degrees outside and our propane tank just ran out. The response I received was the most condescending, rude, non-empathetic, hateful, dangerous and downright awful conversation I have ever had with any company I have ever spoken with - ever! Not only did we not receive propane, but we were told we will not be receiving ANY propane, period. We will not be receiving a delivery - "it takes too much time." We will not be receiving a delivery - "now that you're empty, we need to do too much work." We will not be receiving a delivery - "the driver as just going to do you a favor." We will not be receiving a delivery - "just turn on a space heater." We will not be receiving a delivery - period. According to Hygiene Propane, we could pretty much just die. No skin of their noses. So, please do not ever do business with Hygiene Propane, EVER! Any company that would treat a customer like this should be put out of business. FOREVER!
