      Last September I signed a contract with Bulldog for fixing the leaking issue of my roof with the amount of $2317.73. But after they removed the tiles, ***** said I need to pay additional $1780.70, otherwise they would do nothing even though I had paid. That sounds ridiculous, but I just wanted to fix the issue ASAP since tiles were already removed and I can't recover them myself, then I had to pay another $1780.70 to make them finish their work. They didn't update our contract to add that amount $1780.70 and just sent me an invoice. That's it. The contract shows $2317.73 but I paid about $4000 eventually.However, after several months later, the roof leaks again at the same place this February. That's really ridiculous. I paid them nearly $4000 but nothing is fixed. I contacted ***** and he had a really slow response after a month. He came here checked the leaks, then said they can't find this leaking spot when they were doing their work last year and I have to pay about $3000 again this time to fix it. He just wants to add more money again and again but the issue is never fixed!!! That's totally unacceptable. I just want to have my money back and hire someone professionals to fix the issue and my headache. Please help me on this. Thank you.

      Hello,

       

      We have tried to complete this repair multiple times. We typically have no warranties on repairs as sometimes leaks can be fickle and nearly impossible to trace perfect. We completed a repair which cause the leaking to stop in the area that was the main concern of the customer. A few months later the leak occurred again in a slightly different spot on the same wall. We have been back out multiple times to try and fix this for the customer. We still want to fix this issue and leave the customer happy. I would gladly come back out and try to explain the leak to them again if they would let me. WE believe the new leak is coming from a new area. Please call me directly to set up a time where I can come back and fix this issue.

      Hi,

       

      Attached are pictures of the leaking, and you can see the repaint patches which the bulldog said stopped leaking, what they said is a lie obviously, cause you can see water bubbles on the repaint patch.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      They are not saying truth. The old area they fixed is leaking and the new area is leaking after they took the tile off and put new tiles.

      They are not saying words honestly, so we are not going to let them touch the roof again.

      After they finished the job in my house, we hired someone fixed the drywall and repainted the area, that's why you can see a patching color on the wall. And you also can see the bubble and wrinkles, that means the roof wasn't fixed at all.

      I don't like to argue with people, but this is a pain after paid the money and still struggling with the leaking.

      Their attitude makes me worry, I don't want them to touch the roof again, I want refund and want to hire a different company to finish it.

      We don't have multiple leaking, we had one spots and after the repair, we have 2 leaking spots, and both new and old was touched by their worker.

      The customer has refused us the ability to fix anything on their home. We have offered a refund which was not the entire job (about 60% of the entire project to be given to her) and that wasn't sufficient for the customer. We are still willing to fix this and or refund a portion.

      I would accept a 60% refund(that number should be **** dollar) , and 50% refund of drywall repair that would be 750 dollar.

      If he agrees I would like to close this case ASAP

      I would be willing to give the customer a 60% refund ($2,500) under the following guidelines. 

      - They sign a non disparagement agreement with me (agreeing to not give further bad reviews or talk badly about us in anyway)

      - They remove their complaint from BBB and remove their review from google

      - They agree to not ask for more refunds/ credits in the future. 

       

      I would like it to be acknowledged that giving this refund is our sign of good faith even though we did the job we agreed to in the beginning. Unfortunately the job we agreed to in the start of this project was not a good enough solution for this homes needs unbeknownst to everyone.

      Bulldog Roofing was hired to inspect a leak at this customers home. We came out and saw the leak and suggested a repair above the leak area on the tile roof. The customer agreed and hired us to do the repair. We then went ahead and completed the repairs we were hired to do for the price agreed upon originally.  After the repair the roof then leaked again in a slightly different spot down the wall. We have been back out multiple times and diagnosed the leak further up the roof plane from the original spots than we noticed. Leaks on a roof can be very finnicky and when one area is fixed water can find another weakness to enter a home quickly. This is why we don't offer warranties on leak repairs. Since this debacle the customer has told me she is not willing to let us try to fix the roof anymore. I have offered her discounts to make sure everyone can move on with a happy place in mind but the customer wouldn't settle for less than a full refund which I find unreasonable. 

       

      We are still willing to fix the roof and continue trying to repair it for the customer and or give them a partial discount for their troubles. It is our goal to satisfy customers and we are struggling to do that in this situation. We would love to talk and find a resolution if the customer is up for that.

      I am rejecting this response because: it has been a long time back and forth, I said that I agreed to accept the refund,but I am not going to sign any agreement. I can delete the reviews on their website and BBB. I would not ask for more refund, but as I said I would not sign any agreements.
