Date of Service: 3/26/2024 Date of Payment: 4/8/2024 I have submitted proof of payment and Advent Health continues to say there is an issue.Apparently ************* bought ************** and the provider I paid was part of **************. They keep saying they have to go to corporate to try to get payment from the old system. Twice I was told that this was taken care. Last week, I was told that this went to a different account or possibly a different date of service but they would have corporate look into it. To my knowledge, there is no other date of service with an outstanding balance. As of today, I have no additional resolution.I received a bill from the provider and paid them through my flexible spending account. I have attached proof that the check was cashed. I would like this matter resolved and a letter stating that it is resolved. Payment was sent and cashed.

Unfortunately, most of the communication was over the phone.  They did send me a bill and I responded that it was paid.  They said to give it 45 days to show up in the system.  Before the end of the 45 days, I received the attached letter from **** collection agency.  I explained the situation to them and said they needed additional proof that **** was paid.  I sent the additional proof from Health Equity (attached) to them and Advent Health.  After many phone calls, it was transferred from the collection agency back to **************  I received the attached letter from Advent Health on 9/4.  They were sent the proof of payment again and the proof that the check was cashed.  I was promised twice by Advent Health that this internal issue was cleared up.  Unfortunately, I am still getting calls and they are still telling me that the money is in the wrong account.

The only address I have for Advent Health is ***********************************

Advent Health sent us a note yesterday saying account has been credited and we have a zero balance.  Thank you.  Looks like this is taken care of.

I am filing a complaint due to fraudulent billing practices by AdventHealth Castle Rock Hospital. I was seen as a patient on 9/11/2024 for a non complicated vaginal birth. The initial bill I received had a CPT code for a level 5 ** charge. I disputed this and they denied me stating the charge was accurate. It wasnt until I filed formal complaints with the state, ********, and my insurance that they removed the ** charge from my bill. I then received a revised bill via my patient portal for the same amount as the initial bill. However, the ** charge was replaced with an outpatient CPT code charge. I was never an outpatient for my birth and was admitted ********* and discharged 9/12/2024. AdventHealth is manipulating the billing and CPT codes to turn a profit either by upcoding or billing for services not rendered such as this outpatient charge. I have had to make several calls and complaints to attempt to get resolution. I would just like an accurate bill without any inaccurate charges such as the ** or outpatient charge.

Turns out when you pay out of pocket for a CT scan of almost $400, you're paying for the expenses of the facility and all the other amenities that have nothing to do with imaging, you're also paying for the socks , the religion art work , the clerk picking her nose , the ***** infected Kleenex box , community acquired pneumonia. It goes on.then a few weeks later you get a bill that's from a different state, saying that you need to pay for the actual CT scan imaging procedure which is an additional $300.I called advent health Imaging about that surprise bill and they had no clue who this third party was.Upon calling the third party that advent health imaging had no Clue about , they confirmed my previous statements mentioned above are in fact true, and that I do need to pay them for the actual imaging procedure. Why are they outsourcing their administration, billing to ************?Navigating the health care system in this country should not be this complicated nor should we have to go into debt to exist, People are being scammed and you're just letting this happen.

On July 27th, 2024 I received medical care at Adventhealth ** for back spasm Facility Location :: ****************************************************************** I would like to file a complaint about the way I was treated during my Adventhealth visit. I came in at 12:00am and could barely move from unbearable pain. I sat in the waiting room waiting to be seen. The nurse on call comes out and tells me to just walk it off all the way to the exam room. I got up and tried but told her that I do need assistance in walking due to suffering from major *********************** which was why I was there. The wheelchair was offered as an afterthought, but she kept saying youre fine, just walk it off. I ended up having a breakdown and began to cry. The security guard witnessed this and brought me a wheelchair to take me to the exam room. I was there for about ***** min max sitting in a chair the entire time during the exam. I was seen by the doctor for 5min which went on to give me an anti-inflammatory shot and prescribed muscle relaxers. For this terrible visit, I was charged $8147.00 for Emergency Room **************** The billing department would not breakdown what the ** services were that amounted to that price. They responded to me with a letter that completely contradicted itself. ********************** kept saying that it's in the contract with the insurance company ********************** anthem and I should know my coverage better which means that my insurance company and AdventHealth have a contract together that says that they can charge me $8000 for just entering the **.

I had an insurance issue that I have spent over 80 hours on the phone trying to clear up and Littleton Adventist/Advent Health is doing zero work to fix it and I am still being threatened with incorrect bills and NOW being sent letters that ******** is somehow involved. I was signed up for ****** insurance against my knowledge and without permission in 2022 by my husband's former employer. I went to Littleton Adventist ER multiple times in the fall of 2022 for emergency services and listed ******************* I was paying for and aware that I was in network for) on all paperwork. After receiving several bills in 2023, we discovered the ****** issue. I had my husband's former employer's insurance broker handle it and ****** was retroactively cancelled. ***** is aware and waiting to reprocess these claims, but Advent Health is refusing to reprocess their in network charges with them AND is now telling me that I need to call ********( I have not ever had ********). These need to be re-processed and zero balanced out for the 2022 year. Co-pays were already paid. This is insanity and harassment.

I was seen at this hospital for a serious illness. due to circumstances beyond my control I did not have insurance. My husband had recently had a heart attack and we had over 100K in hospital bills. I was making payments via the systems allowed by the hospital, I have confirmation numbers for transactions. this hospital took my money monthly and then sent me to collections. I consistently was making payments. No call just sent to collections. I contacted their payment department and was advised I would get a phone call as they could see my payments. No one called in over a week. Instead of do the right thing and try to pay maybe I should have just filed bankruptcy. No response from the hospital at all. ******************* with this hospital thought I had surgery and it was not a pleasant experience when the Doctor assigned to you doesn't even know your chart. I would like a call from this hospital

I had a colonoscopy on June 30th and my insurance covers the procedure at 100%. However, I received a bill over $1000 because they are not submitting the expenses correctly. My husband has the exact same insurance and went to another facility and he received a bill for ZERO. I have received nothing but a run around trying to actually talk to someone other than customer service.

      Business Response

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and for allowing us an opportunity to respond. Concentra does not perform colonoscopies and we believe that this complaint was directed to Concentra in error. If you have any questions or concerns about services that you were provided at Concentra, please let us know and we will be happy to assist. Thank you.

I did receive a call from Centura (Common Spirit) claiming that the insurance company didn't pay the claim correctly and it does have a zero balance.  I have not received an updated EOB showing a zero balance but I am assuming that will be coming.
