I purchased a 20-pack of classes from The Hyve yoga studio, which was formerly known as ******************, on 7/11/2022 for $360. The studio changed ownership from ************************* to ************************* in July of 2022. I had used 12 of those classes before the studio unexpectedly closed permanently on 10/1/2022. There was no communication from ******* regarding the closing of the studio. I was notified of the closure by a former yoga instructor at the studio, and the instructors only received a few days notice. I attempted to contact ******* to receive a refund for the 8 remaining classes that I had purchased and not been able to redeem, but her studio email account had been discontinued and she never replied to my text messages. I had communicated with her previously via text at that same phone number regarding classes that had been cancelled and I was not automatically refunded for. I would like to be refunded $144 for those 8 classes I did not redeem. I strongly believe that all students who had remaining unused classes should receive a refund from *******. Her lack of communication about the studio's closure and the fact that the students were not issued refunds for services that she did not provide is incredibly disappointing and unacceptable.

************************* purchased The ******************** from ************************* and re-opened under the name The Hyve in July 2022. She had made physical changes to the studio as well as made changes to scheduling classes. Classes were more expensive than previously, and she decided to make it a High End Yoga and Fitness Studio when it had previously been known as A Yoga Studio that thrives on making yoga accessible.I purchased a 20 class pack from ******* on September 2, 2022 for $360.00.Students never heard A WORD from ******* regarding the studio closing apparently effective 10/1/22. I received a forwarded email from one of the former teachers describing ******** quiet exit from the studio. Allegedly, the yoga teachers employed by ******* were notified of the studios closing a few days before the 10/1 close date. NO information has been given to students who purchased her class packs.I feel that I, as well as the other yoga students who purchased class packs from *******, were defrauded. I believe that ******* likely knew she was unable to keep the studio financially afloat, and continued, AND STILL CONTINUES (based on her The Hyve account on Vagaro) to accept money for classes that are supposedly no longer available.I would like someone to look into *************************** business practices. I believe I am due a refund in full for a class pack that ******* likely knew could never be fulfilled by her studio.
