On Monday October 3rd my 8 month puppy had passed because of their lack of communication and lack of professionalism. I had called them on October 2nd letting them know my pup was seen by a vet and had a broken jaw. They did not instruct me on what to do just that their dentist doctor would be in on Monday the 3rd and to be there at 7am. I went off of my other vets advice and fed her a soupy meal and gave her the pain meds that he prescribed. The next morning I had given her some soupy food and her pain meds and we took her to this clinic. When we got there we checked in and after and hour of waiting in the waiting room they finally took her back for “vitals”. They instructed us to leave and we would receive a phone call on her status. We heard nothing for hours. I had to call several times on her status and after 10 hours of my dog sitting there they finally were ready to take her X-rays. They called us and told us the details of what needed to be done and transferred us to the ER for the price it would cost. There was no answer. After being transferred twice, the dentistry office picked back up and said they would call us back with the price and that they were going to start surgery. First of all, we never gave them a go ahead for the surgery because we did not discuss the price. Secondly, I didn’t even know if it was humane to keep her alive with all the procedures that would have had to be done. Finally, I get a call from the ER and they gave me the costs for her to be euthanized and her cost for surgery. Surgery was gonna be several thousand dollars and her being euthanized was supposed to be roughly $800 considering they had given her pain meds and X-rays. I spoke to the Dr. R***** and asked her several time if it it would be humane to keep her living and got no direct answer. It bill was $3000. I have expressed my concerns with the director and they still don’t seem to be taking me seriously. It took her 7 days to reach back out to me with no resolution.

I took my 9-year-old Chow Branston in on July 12th. The staff was very attentive and answered my calls. I was told they could not determine what was exactly wrong with him and it could be an intestine issue, an ulcer or cancer. It was suggested I take him home, give him medicine and see what happens. I spent extra monies on special dog food and even an appetite stimulant. I was told they would need to refer me to another specialist to see if Branston had stomach cancer if things did not improve. I bought him home and within a few days, he was not eating. I tried everything. He was not drinking and was throwing up bile. In a little more than a month he lost 15 lbs. I finally took him to my vet on August 15th and saw the detailed reports from Four Seasons Veterinary Specialists my vet also told me he had aggressive stomach cancer and the reports from Four Seasons showed it was growing. I wrote a review and was told to call the director back. I tried yesterday to find out she was not in. I then called back last night and was on hold for 15 minutes before I hung up. I also requested all the written notes which I did not receive. I am very upset since yes I was initially in shock but if I had known this on July 12th Branston would not have suffered so much. I am requesting $2,500 to replace my chow with a bulldog puppy.
