2 years ago I had the best experience with Pauls Plumbing when I had a catastrophic plumbing issue. My husband was in the hospital with a terminal illness and Pauls Plumbing couldnt have been more helpful to me during this difficult period. Last Weds June 26th I contacted Pauls Plumbing regarding a toilet that kept running. The person answering the phone was gracious and very helpful and had a plumber respond on the same day. I was told it was probably a flapper problem which I thought was reasonable. He said the cost for changing out the flapper was $214.00. I felt that was too much money. He removed the flapper and suggested that I go to a hardware store, get a replacement and install myself. I did that exact thing and it partially resolved the problem. The chain was too long and would get caught under the flapper. I paid $89.00 for this service call. The next day I had a house inspection as Im possibly going to sell my house. I was told by this inspector that I had a leak in my basement. He said it might be connected to the toilet. I immediately called Pauls back and explained this information. *******? was the phone person and sent 2 plumbers out on Friday June 28th. They shortened the chain in the toilet and Checked the basement. They said I have no leak. They clearly explained that on my invoice so that I had proof of the follow up for the home inspection. I paid another $89.00 for this service call. On Tuesday July 2nd I went into my basement and found water dripping through the wood and onto the floor. I called Pauls admittedly upset and explained the findings to ? *******. I wanted to speak to a supervisor or the owner. She put me on hold and then advised that I would need to make another appointment on the regular schedule. I requested to speak to the person in charge. She said ***** would call me back. ***** is the owner I am told. I have not had a return call yet.
