    Date of Transaction with Rock Solid Plumbing: 7/19/23 Rock Solid Plumbing - Serviced Swamp Cooler, but then it didn't work. They charged me $262. I had him come back on Aug 8th, he claimed there was no fault on his part. He said he would refund the $262 on Aug 15th in front of a neighbor witness. He never mailed me the check as promised. I called ****'s Plumbing to come and look at it. They said the work had been done improperly and they had used the wrong parts. Rock Solid Plumbing hadn't even correctly put on the swamp cooler covers, causing water to run down my gutters. ****'s Plumbing fixed it all and it cost me $450, because they had to tear out all of the incorrect parts, etc. and then do the job right. Put correct pads in and put the covers on correctly. I am asking that Rock Solid refund me the $262 as previously promised, and the $450 I had to pay to correct their mistakes. I have 4 pictures that ****'s Plumbing took for me to document the poor work. One picture is showing how it should have been done as ****'s Plumbing did.

    We have made sure to communicate with you through this process and have explain all this previously. Your swamp cooler was serviced correctly and then you called back due to a leak coming from the doors on the cooler. This leak was fixed and then the doors were placed back on the cooler the way they came off originally. The pad that we took out was replaced with a higher quality pad but was absolutely the correct pad. I have attached a picture of the pad that was taken out, this is a screen shot that shows the date so you can be assured it is your pad. Your cooler was working when we left. We are sorry that you were unsatisfied with our work and have issued you a refund for the $262. We have not responded to your voicemail left Aug 18th as is was threatening and inappropriate. Again a refund has been issued to you for the service fee you paid.

    I would like to reopen this complaint since **** at Rock Solid sent you a letter stating he would pay me $262.00 dollars for the botched up job he did on my Swamp Cooler.   He admitted to the BBB that he was at fault and he would pay me.  This all happened Sept. 14 and I have not received any money from him.   I would like you to reopen the case.   Please keep me informed.

    Please read our prior response. The check was mailed to you on 09/08 to our surprise it was then returned to us a week and a half later on 09/20. We put it back into the mail asking for a second attempt at delivery on 09/22. You should have received this by now. We apologize for any delay as that was unintentional. If not received please call us and we will overnight another one.
