We were told this money would go toward the purchase of slabsbut we never received a receipt, never saw the slabs, and the contractor has since disappeared with our money. Countertop guy refused to work with ****** because he said ****** was lying to us in front of him and he felt discomfortable.We were promised custom cabinetry. We have since discovered that the cabinets he is delivering are not personalized, but rather mass-produced, ready-to-install units from a Denver warehouse (link here: **************************************************************).This contractor is dishonest, unreliable, and has taken advantage of our trust and investment. He makes empty promises, delivers subpar and incorrect products, and is completely unresponsive to requests for accountability. No one should ever do business with Corban Cabinets LLC.We are demanding a full refund for the undelivered slabs and resolution for the botched work.Besides it, he always tries to blame you somehow, including blaming the old house wall that was never a surprise to us, has a small unevenness seems by other cabinets professionals who said that is pretty normal, and expected from an old house, and easy to fix with pieces of wood + framing and trimming.Initial Complaint

I hired Corban Cabinets and Countertops LLC, owned by ******, to provide and install cabinets for two separate properties. The experience has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional.****** has consistently given false promises and misleading timelines regarding delivery and installation. One of the properties did eventually receive cabinets, but even that job was poorly executeda drawer does not open and close properly, and no effort has been made to fix it.The second project is still incomplete. Despite repeated calls and follow-ups, ****** either does not respond or provides false delivery dates. Weeks have passed with no progress, and his lack of communication has made it nearly impossible to move forward.This ongoing delay is costing us money dailytime is being wasted, and our project is being held up solely due to his unreliability. ****** has also refused to offer any form of compensation or credit for the trouble and financial loss ********* seeking immediate resolution: the prompt delivery and installation of the remaining cabinets, proper repair of the faulty drawer, and compensation for the significant delay and inconvenience.Customer Answer

I paid Corban Cabinets and Countertops LLC $7,154.58 on February 15, 2025 (Invoice #INV0138 dated 1/31/2025) for cabinets and installation at a property I manage at ************************************************************. The cabinets were promised for delivery and installation on or before February 10. Since then, the defendant has made multiple false promises via text, missed numerous installation dates, and is now largely unresponsive. The cabinets have not been delivered or installed as of April 2, 2025. I have requested updates and offered chances to make things right, but there has been no resolution. Because this cabinet install was required before other trades (like countertops and backsplash), the project has been on hold for nearly two months. This has cost me time, delayed contractor scheduling, and affected my ability to complete and list the property. I am seeking a full refund of $7,154.58 and additional damages for lost time and disruption to my renovation schedule.Initial Complaint

An amount requested upfront for kitchen cabinets was paid to Corban Cabinets under (RealWood Cabinets, LLC on 4/1/24 for $14,537.38.Paying everything upfront should have been a red flag!In addition they requested $551.20 for trim they wrongly installed and we had to pay the materials again for their mistake. Short of saying it is now 7/10/24!Our cabinets continue to be incomplete as of today 11/18/24At this point I am done with this company on 9/27/24 we payed of an entire cabinet so we could have the face of a drawer amount payed was $560.95, still no drawer to be installed and the front door to out trash pull that has the wrong handle size on again lack of attention.****** ****** its a great sales person but horrible at keeping his word. He promised to have our kitchen fully completed in 3 days, I have every text message with every excuse his made to for the past 7 months.I am asking for assistance to hold this company accountable, need my kitchen completed as they kept the last $560.95 and havent provided the service.***** ****** provides a *********** but either gets a flat tire, have a positive pregnancy, wife giving birth has even gone to the point to blame the hurricane as and excuse so never shows up. 1- I dont know why shes complaining about the full amount, because the kitchen has been finished, in may 17. Consider the her closing date, April 10, 2024.And the reason we charge the full amount upfront its because we sale products, not service.2- she mentioned, she have to buy more trim because we install incorrectly and its no true, because she hired the third party to install the countertop and when they install the countertops they damage the trim, and she try to blame us.3- and finally when everything its done she start to complain. About the finish we did, and its standard finish.And we can explain showing the picturesA) this is supposed to be the right oven for this cabinet, we usually put small trim, or the oven come with trim the same color of the oven.B) This is how we finish when they buying the wrong size we install the panel like drawer inside the box. I am complaining on the fact that paid you $560.95 on 9/27/24 to make me a drawer for the oven cabinet. So why is it still not done? It is now 12/5/24? (See receipt)
On everything else I want others to be aware of your true process, you are great at selling but not at following through.
Reaching out to the BBB wasnt a threat, after you didnt show up on 10/28, because wife had a baby or whatever ever your reason was, I still gave you chance. Still 11-14-24 you tell me your coming & no show I call & text you with no response until I said I was done trying at 5:37.
Even after submitting this you havent tried to reach out for a resolution, trust me I dont want to deal with you more than you have to deal with me.
What I want from you now is a DATE & TIME when you will actually show up and keep your word, I have no choice but to finish this through you. Can you complete this in the next week?
After months & months of excuses, there has to be some liabilityI have text over text of you not showing up or even not responding when you show up, happy to post them. Kitchen wasnt completed when you said it would be but I am not even going there hopefully consumers get the idea and avoid the headaches.
You know I am flexible and simple knock on my door would have been enough to avoid all this.
I think my request is fair. Finish the work you got paid to do 9/27/24. So we are clear theres a drawer that needs to be made under wall o en & the trash pull door needs to be replaced as it has the wrong size handle, I dont want any more surprises so want to make sure we are on the same page.

As per previous message, ****** ****** from Corban Cabinets send someone to fix the missing drawer from the oven cabinet.
The drawer pull from the trash can wasnt fix, ****** said it would be fix as he needs access to get the door from a different customer.

As per my previous email I dont have a full resolution. ****** send someone in December to replace the missing drawer on our wall oven. This was the last time I talked to him from is employees phone as he doesnt answer my calls.
Photos are not loading but he is well aware of what needs to be done. He installed the wrong size handle on our trash pull which means it needs a new door with the correct size handle. From what I understand he is getting that door from another customers project that supposedly is delayed.
****** is not giving us any other solution other than wait for who knows how long. The way this company works is they push you to buy more cabinets to fix whatever problems theyve created but I am no longer willing to do that.
Hope you guys can help, after the amount of money we pay to get a custom item I dont understand why attention to detail is not there

******** *** *** **** * *** ******* **** *** ********* ********* *********The smaller one is the correct one. Once handled is removed the holes on the door won’t align with the correct sized one which is the reason he needs to now replace the door with the correct handle size.
I would truly advise him to bring the door and install handle here to avoid any misalignments at the trash pull door sits right below a drawer so the handle needs to align, that’s the reason size difference is so noticeable.
