    I hired Mark H*******, owner of Magnum Services, to do painting for my home remodel. I paid him in full $3000.00 on May 11, 2024, with the understanding and his promise that he would come back and finish the job in 1 week after my bathroom baseboard was finished. I called him numerous times and left numerous voice mails and texts messages for him to finish. He answered one call and said that he was too busy to finish the job. I told him he should have never accepted the job if he did not have time to come back and finish. I had to hire new painters to finish the job, ***** ******, and pay him $525.00 to finish. I tried for one month to get Mark to come back and finish the job. I called Mark H******* and left a voice message and text message that he needs to refund the money to me since he would not come back and finish. He did not ever respond. He needs to repay the money as he totally scammed me and I feel he had no intention to ever come back and finish. He did not do near $3000.00 worth of work and did a half way job when he was here.
