    Back in the summer of 2024 I allowed somebody access that I trusted to my storage unit to pick up some of their belongings that I have been holding for a while I have been a customer of this facility for 4 years with no issues this person I gave access to allegedly cause damage to the facilities grounds by doing some cookies in the parking lot I agreed to help cover some damages but what they are charging me is outrageous and after multiple attempts of asking for a formal estimate they have yet to provide one they also will not provide my original contract that I no longer have in possession and now have combined my rent for the storage with the damage fee to look like that is just my rent not including the damage fee I've asked for receipts to have the separated and they still don't provide this I've asked for other estimates and they don't allow me to have other estimates the total and damage I was told was $5,000 but I have no proof of that and I know people with experience in that field and I've been told that is excessive they say that the ground has been rudded so I am locked out of my unit I'm still expected to pay my rent and that damage fee but have no access to my unit I feel like I'm being held hostage I want to work something out I've already paid a little over $1,000 but I can't be paying for $5,000 and I've noticed they have new pavement in a different area that had nothing to do with this damage I had been wanting to use a different facility that I found was $100 less a month but now I can't even do that because I have my stuff with this business. I need help with the resolution I've tried to contact lawyers and I can't find help the company is not providing any kind of document any kind of receipts to back up their claim I also asked for pictures of the damages and they ignore those request or have an excuse. This seems criminal and is affecting my mental health severely.

    We are actively working with ****** to resolve the issue. Damage was done to our property. We are working getting best quote to get it resolved. We are working with her to get the work done.

    Business was sold. No notice given. Letter showed up may 10th 2024. Notifying us of a price increase. We could not afford that oncrease because of fixed income. We emptied out the storage unit and swept it out.
    Today may 23, 2024. Out of state company is making unreasonable demands. Wants us to 3 hours to take a picture. Supposed move out policy was Never given.Rude and unprofessional .we owe them nothing.

    Company was sold without notification to us. When my wife went to make payment for May is when she found out about the new owners. And the surprise rent increase.That new company we think is in Oregon.The company we have been with for the last 5 years gave no notice either. Nothing was signed or agreed with this new company. They now demand after being notified that we have removed our belongings. And cleaned out the locker that they want 30 day notice according to their rules.They emailed that after we told them we moved out.TODAY.No new contract was ever sent. Just unreasonable demands. Out of company wants is to drive 3 hours in order to send them a picture.They are out of state and don’t care that we would have to spend gas and time to drive 200 miles.I’m to old for that and had my son drive me there to clean it out.This company evidently has no “on site” management.They have been paid through May. I will mot drive 3 hours to take a picture.And I will not give them any more money.

    Company says that we now owe them nothing.

    communicated unit is empty and clean.

    I have no further complaints. Extremely glad to have no more dealings with this new company.
