    Basically I was lead to believe the document I signed was part of a financial application to tell them the amount that was proposed. The basic points are : I was coerced into signing this document I was not given time to fully read or examine it I was not given a copy at time of signing I was mislead as to the purpose of what I was signing - never told it was a Contract no mention ( verbal or written) of a cancellation policy no deposit was required or paid - again making me believe it was a proposal for credit approval when I spoke to the business owner ( Mr. ** ****** ) about not moving forward with the proposal he agreed that it was a misunderstanding and we would chalk it up to that and he would let it go now Mr. ****** has evidently changed his mind and is harassing me for funds he is not owed I would like him to stop contacting me and making false claims about alleged funds he feels I owe him. He performed no service to my home.Please help settle this dispute. I originally picked this business only because they were BBB approved.I found the Cooling-Off Rule by the ************************ that says if it was a contract the SELLER is required by law to inform the ***** at the time of sale about the right to cancel and provide the buyer with a copy of the sales contract and two copies of the cancellation form. Mr. ****** never did this. Again misleading me into thinking it was a proposal only.I never dreamed he thought it was a contract and definitely would not have signed one because I was still thinking it over.
