They installed my Furnace March 2022. On 2/11/2025 it was blowing cool air. I text them with the issue, they scheduled an appt for the same day between 2-4pm. Tech got there at 4pm. he went to the basement looked at the *******, removed the flame sensor, wiped it a few times with a Brillo pad type thing. THEN tells me $219 for the few min of work. It was NEVER communicated to me of their $100 fee to schedule and min service fee. when I text them with the frustration, I was told they "assumed" I knew their fees. How would I know that? The tech had me sign the "authorization form" on his way out the door, AFTER he talked on the phone with the office. his call log time versus the time on the authorization form will prove that. I had to request a receipt multiple times. HORRIBLE!

GE Heating & Air has an EXCELLENT reputation in the industry with referrals from past and present clientele. Due to the "miscommunication of the standard service call fee to get out to ANY service request.  GE Heating & Air has a unworthy negative review. Customer satisfaction is our priority, and we in good faith made ***** *********** PRIORITY for same day service, with the standard service call fee of $100, this fee is STANDARD in ALL industries throughout the entire state of *********  This fee covers the following:

    Skilled Trained Technicians

    Troubleshooting the furance/HVAC system

Drive time to the clients residence

    Fleet vehicles, phones, etc.

All the standard overhead required to be a BUSINESS

The $119 is the minimum fee to all clients regarding any minor repair.

The client was sent an email with the invoice unfortunately, her email had a typo, GE Heating & Air immediately emailed her the invoice, once she text the office regarding she did not receive the emailed invoice.  The client was advised that this is normal business practice for ANY service request.

GE Heating & Air feels that this is not a valid complaint.

    Thank You

I do not know what the Standard fees are, as I do not work for the company or in the industry. Those fees should be communicated BEFORE an appt is scheduled and/or ANY work is done. I was not told this was a normal business practice until AFTER I let the company know of my dissatisfaction and the fact that the tech had me sign the authorization form AFTER he had done the repair and was leaving. The business did type my email wrong, once I corrected them, they did send the invoice.

Absolutely AWFUL! They installed a new unit in our house and they left without even finishing the job! Because we requested an inspection from the ************* they returned to finish the job. However, 16 months after the installation we had problems with the ** and went through the entire summer without it. After multiple estimates from other companies and paying a visit fee 4 times total, we had to come up with an extra $3.000.00 because this horrible Company GE Heating & Air didn't used the proper air ducts and didn't install an extra return air vent needed for the equipment to work properly. They should lose their HV** license! $13.000.00 paid for a very bad job.We only hired them because we wanted to give a small business a chance, but GE Heating & Air doesnt deserve any business!RUN while you can !!I 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND this company!

GE Heating & Air would have been happy to assist you with any concerns or issues. Unfortunately, we were not notified by you (client) of any issues, GE would gladly address anything regarding your HVAC system. According to our records, GE was at your residence December 2020. Today we hear of your review, January 2023. "Two years later".The job was 100 percent complete, the reason GE needed to go back was to seal your ductwork in the crawlspace to make sure our client received their Xcel rebate for additional savings. After the job was complete, a random audit was performed by ************ which is normal protocol.Word of advice; Anytime you have any issues or concerns, please reach out to the original company who installed your new equipment. There would have been NO Charge to our client, 1-year labor & 10-year parts warranty.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY OR OWNER!!! Though mutual acquaintances, we thought we could trust the owner, we were so wrong. For over the last 6 years are ** unit was working just fine, note no problems at all. Last week we replaced our concrete and asked *********************************** (formally Erives Heating and Air) how much he would charge us to unhook and rehook are outside unit. His response was "don't worry about Bro". We always planned on paying him but he wouldn't give us a price or quote. One of his employee ****** came and unhooked the unit and everything was fine. Then last Friday without notice his son **** and another employee just showed up, I was working and my wife had an appointment so no one was home. When we got home we noticed the ** unit was halfway in front of the water faucet (which leaks if not tighten) so we no water and electricity don't no together. So we called ******* to ask ifhe can move it away from the water faucet and his first response was"If I have to go back out there, I'm charing you double." Then again without notice on Tuesday, ******* and his other son ****** show uo damanding $450 without an invoice or any explanation forthe amount. We go outside to look at the unit and he starts pulling on the lines/hoses breaking things even hearing a leaking sound. We are now arguing when ******* signs with his finger over his mouth to my wife to zip it/shut it. My wife loses it and damands him and his son to leave and they just continue to talk c*** and breaking things until my wife yelled that she was going to call the cpos if they didn't leave now! Then on Wednesday morning his son **** showed up and left a check for the $450 starting it a refund, we were at work but saw it on our Ring doorbell. Note we never authorized any new parts because our unit was working fine. OWNER WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE ESPECIALLY TO WOMEN!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL WE EVER TRUST THIS COMPANY!!! We have photos to show how they broke and left are ** unit.

GE Heating & Air has an EXCELLENT reputation in the industry with referrals from past and present clientele.Due to the "miscommunication of the placement with relocating the existing air conditioner system" (outside), GE Heating & Air has a unworthy negative review.Customer satisfaction is our priority, and we in good faith issued a check for a refund to the irate client, at that time, she tore up the ************* it at her husband ********************. The next day ******************** called the office to request for GE to issue a new replacement check that his wife tore up. Ge again issued a check to *********************Our technicians tried to discuss options with the client regarding the air conditioner relocation from in front of water spicket, she REFUSED to reason with the technician's options. Unfortunately, due to a dis-gruntle "female client" who displayed verbal and physical anger issues, when our technicians were on site, our company was not able to achieve our assignment. The client was verbally abusive with our employees, and the owner of GE Heating & Air. GE Heating & Air was in fear for their safety due to the behavior of the client who was expressing hate, disrespect, and refusing to allow our CERTIFIED & TRAINED EXPERTS to complete the job. Sadly, many of us have to deal with people being aggressive, whether as part of our work, or in the course of our daily lives. All we can do in these situations is find a solution and or walk away from any DANGEROUS situation.
