    Date of incident : May 8, 2025 *** my brand new truck through the car wash and it put scratches all over it and they are refusing to pay to fix it. I got a quote to fix for $1200 from a local reputable detailing place. Many more scratches than in pictures attached

    To whom may concern. The damage claimed by Mr ***** was investigated and concluded that scratches claimed were NOT cause by the wash due to multiple factors. 

    1. No damage was seen on our Exit inspection cameras(X3)

    2. The scrathces do not follow any pattern that the wash equipment creates. (I.E Bellow)

    2a. On the rear passenger bed aft of the tire and on the driver side bed above the rear tire are vertical **** that are inconsistent with any motion made by the wash equipment.

    2b. The other ****s on the doors and front fender do NOT have a constisancy accross the entire vehicle surface to indicate some debris was in our equipment and caused damage.

    3. Mr ***** is claiming all the buffing ****s as scratch's.  These are the result of the paint process done to any and every vehicle on the road and is corrected at the factory or detailer with by a final polish of the vehicle.  These are considered a preexisting condition and are not covered by the company.

    4. No other claims for scratches were made on that day with over six hundred(600+) cars wash.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    Clearly there was dirt on the wraps that would cause these exact issues. This isnt the first complaint you guys have received about this SAME ISSUE! Look at your ****** reviews. Same story and same excuse why you wont accept responsibility. Are you implying that **** puts out brand new trucks on their showroom with scratches everywhere? Id like to see a log of when the wraps were last cleaned thoroughly. It should be standard practice. Can you provide those?

    Multiple people reported track malfunction. I have video that shows white SUV has 3 seconds to place in drive before track forces black jeep into collision. Look how closely employees stack Jeep behind White SUV.Jeep stopped for 12 seconds before ***** forced into it.I have video of three (3) separate employees admit track has been stopping when it shouldnt and not stopping when it should.Owners refuse to respond to claims.

    To whom it concerns.  My name is ***** and I am the site GM. I have been in contact with the customer who made this claim.  We had to deny this claim due to the cause of the collision was the orignal poster had their brakes applied.  Due to this, the car was not allowed to be pushed off of the wash belt conveyor.  We have tried to make consession to meet the customer in the middle with his repair with out going through his insurance. He however declined and decided to let his insurance pursue the matter.   I have since talked to thier agent and explained as to why we would not cover.

    I am rejecting this response because: Car Wash Manager texted me stating they will pay for all damages.

    I have also included videos showing I was stopped and employees admitting the safety software failed and caused the collision. No matter if I was stopped for 3 seconds, or a child or employee was on the tract, the safety feature did not stop and would have caused bodily harm or property damage. 

    The manager also has footage before the crash showing the vehicle in front of me was stopped without cause which triggered the entire incident.

    Dutch Car Wash is responsible for damaging my car in their car wash. After reviewing video footage with employees, we all agree that the car wash damaged my car. However, the manager ***** refuses to fix or remediate the situation. My car had no scratches when entering the car wash, but upon exiting you can see two huge scratches on the video.

    We are sorry that this customer did not agree with our investigation. We have explained to her that due to the nature of the scratch that she had on her hood and the fact that those scratches did not continue along the roof and trunk line that this is proof to the business that unfortunately this customer had a pre-existing issue that became clearly noticeable after the car was cleaned.  I have also attached the same picture that was sent to the customer that shows what appears to us as the scratch that is being claimed to be caused by the wash. With that being said we had to deny this damage claim. 



    We are happy to take responsibility for any damage that the wash does actually create in some cases, however in this case. We could not accept the responsibility due to the facts above.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The picture that *****, the manager, uploaded has been cropped to hide that the line he is claiming to be on my car is in FACT the reflection of the foundation.

    This furthermore contributes to my claim that he is tampering with the picture by cropping it, and has saturated the picture to make the line appear brighter.

    See below for the uncropped picture showing that the reflection of the foundation is creating a line on my hood.
