    On October 12th I dropped a Christmas Stocking off to be embroidered. I brought a stocking they did for me in 2021 for reference. I asked they match the font and color, size. She wrote the font that she said matched down with color etc. At that time she asked to keep my other stocking. I said yes if she can notate on the receipt she has the other item. She declined so I took the stocking with me. I received a call later that day asking which side the name should be on, i told her and we said goodbye. When I went in on 10/15 I immediately noticed the "i" letter was wrong font, I also noticed it was done on the wrong side. We went thru their font book and couldn't find the match so I asked if we can use the "I" from one font and use the other font for the other letters as well as get it on correct side. They agreed. I picked it up on 11/3, the top part was torn off and replaced with another material. Not any time during pick up did anyone mention this was done. Once I realized I called and the lady informed me what had happened. I asked why I was not told and she said "we did the best we could" , I asked to be reimbursed for the stocking and I'll have her embroider again when I receive the new one. She agreed. I sent her email with receipt for stocking and she wrote back saying she did best she could and tried to find a replacement. She never called to ask where I got the stocking, never tried to even tell me the disaster that occurred. The stocking was ruined and she blamed me neglecting to acknowledge her employee was wrong on the font and the side of stocking to be embroidered. I feel I am owed reimbursement for the stocking ($31.86) as well as either getting my money back ($20.40) OR being reimbursed for the stocking and having them embroider the new once as she had previously agreed to do. This would be the preferred resolution.See pic. The stocking on right is the one I brought to match, the one on left is the one they messed up.
