    We hired Rustic Butterfly (RB) to remodel our kitchen and added other projects.The project started in Jan 2024 and we were told that the initial measurements were incorrect, and the enclosure of the refrigerator and the benefit of the counter depth refrigerator design had to be eliminated. We paid for the enclosure cabinet, but it hasnt and cannot be installed in the layout.Nov 2023 we ordered the appliances from the recommended retailer and the specs were sent to RB to use for the design. At the time of installation, the installer found that the spaces for the dishwasher and bar fridge were not correct and they didnt fit. We had to wait 2 weeks for the next available install date. When RB corrected the space for the bar fridge, their employees scratched the newly finished wood floors and those scratches are still there. The specs for the vent hood insert was also sent to RB in November. In February we were told it was the wrong one. We purchased another one (again at the recommended retailer) and were again told that it would not work and ** wanted to supply their own. We had to pay a restocking fee for the return of the original unit. ** could have saved us this fee.Our appliance garage cabinet is missing the front door. Even though weve been told many times a solid one would be installed, it still has not been. To date we have paid RB $76,420.48 for the project and we were sent an invoice for the balance of $2,906.53 with a statement that the project would not be completed without payment in full. This requirement is beyond what is detailed in our project contract from RB which states that the final amount is due on completion of Final Contract sign off- completion. We are holding the remaining funds (less than 4% of total owed) until the project is complete.RB has refused to finish our project or establish an agreed upon punch list and have removed their lock box. We would like the punch list and all items completed.
