    I hired El Toro Construction and Roofing LLC on 10/10/2023 to do hail damage work to my house. We had hail damage to our house roof, shed roof, gazebo, gutters and windows. We paid El Toro 50% of the invoice amount, $8,736.50. We waited ten months for the project to be completed and we were told over twenty-five times that someone was on there way to do the work and no one showed. The work that has been completed is our gutters, shed roof and partial of the gazebo work. El Toro did not return to finish the work and they stole $5,052.70 of our money based on the work completed. They continued to lie to us about the project and told us they had our materials, the company to load the roofing materials were on their way and often showed up for twenty minutes and would leave. I always had to reach out to receive updates and would never get an honest answer. At one point, the owner, who I was in contact with blocked my number so I couldn't reach out to him. I have now asked for a refund and he will not answer. He has stolen $5,052.70.

    *****************************, the owner and manager of this business had is crew re-stain my deck and repaint my stucco and garage doors. Shortly after they finished I let him know the paint in the joints of the garage doors was sticking and pealing, he said this is because they used the wrong kind of paint in error (not made for metal garage doors) and that they would remove the old paint and re-paint with the correct product. For months now I've made multiple attempts (both by phone and in writing) to reach him or anyone at his company to get this repair completed with no response.
