    Business Response

    Date: 01/03/2023

Lemongrass Spa Products, LLC is a direct selling company who offers skincare and makeup products.  In the attached document, Lemongrass Policies and Procedures, Section 15.2.3 Voluntary Termination states:  "A Consultant will only be allowed to enroll a maximum of two (2) times in their lifetime."

The complainant or a member of the complainant's household has attempted to become a consultant of five different occasions: June 29, 2015, June 8, 2017, February 25, 2018, November 17, 2022 and December 10, 2022.  This type of behavior is known as "kit-napping" in the industry.  It's when individuals sign up to be a consultant, receive their kit of products at a deep discount and then do little or no business.  The result is a losing proposition for the Company, which is why a lifetime limit of two enrollments has been implemented.

Each Consultant is an independent contractor and not an employee and Lemongrass Spa Products is within its rights to exercise discretion in determining with whom it will enter into an Agreement.  The complaint is without merit.

BBB asks third parties who publish complaints, reviews and/or responses on this website to affirm that the information provided is accurate. However, BBB does not verify the accuracy of information provided by third parties, and does not guarantee the accuracy of any information in Business Profiles.

When considering complaint information, please take into account the company's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints.

BBB Business Profiles generally cover a three-year reporting period, except for customer reviews. Customer reviews posted prior to July 5, 2024, will no longer be published when they reach three years from their submission date. Customer reviews posted on/after July 5, 2024, will be published indefinitely unless otherwise voluntarily retracted by the user who submitted the content, or BBB no longer believes the review is authentic.
