      I requested and paid for a first quality windshield from *************************, owner of A + Glass LLC (Colorado ID:**********) in ******, **. The windshield installed by ****************** had a manufacturers defect in the glass with an area of distortion in the middle of the windshield. The manufacturers defect in the glass was not disclosed to me when I picked up the vehicle from ******************. The local reputation of A+ Glass is "their windshields leak after installation. I have an employee who had to have her windshield resealed three times for leaks after installation by ******************. I waited a week and then ran the vehicle through the car wash ensure the windshield did not leak. Two weeks ago, I had the time to address the glass distortion issue in windshield with the manufactures defect with A+ Glass. ****************** is refusing to replace the defective windshield with the distortion in the middle of the glass that was not disclosed to me at the time of purchase because there is a small stone chip in the glass. I contacted the ******* Glass Company, ****************, ** who is the wholesale vendor for A+ Glass and was reassured a windshield with a manufacturers defect (glass distortion) would be replaced under warranty. I discussed the results of my conversation with ****************** last week. ****************** refuses to replace the defective windshield with the manufactures defect that was not disclosed to me at the time of purchase. I believe a fair resolution would be for A+ Glass to replace the defective windshield with the manufactures defect under warranty. Since I have now driven the vehicle several hundred miles since the installation of the defective windshield, I have even offered to prorate the replacement windshield or even pay wholesale cost for a replacement windshield. A + Glass will not return phone calls.

      ************* came to us about a mounth after having his windshield installed and claimed he had a defective windshield, I walked out to see this defective glass I saw a rock chip that had caused damage, he asked if we could fix that chip and as the chip had spread we couldn't fix it. He said well that *****, then he said oh ya there is a distortion in the windshield can you replace it because of that? I looked for this distortion and it took me several minutes to see this very small distortion that he claims is so big Our glass company goes over the glass when they load it with a bright light to look for flaws. This was so small they didn't even see it. He is a Dr. looking for a free windshield, our windshields do not leak this is the first BBB complaint, that is his oppinion. He said he wasn;t going to complain about the distortion because the windshield was done so well. But wanted to know if there was a way to redue the windshield because of the distortion? I explained I wasn't sure how they would handel that so I called my Glass supplier. After Caliing and speaking with 2 employees they said it was a tad shady because of the chip, they don't cover chips He did state he was very happy with the windshield, so to state he didn't see the distorion untill later is untrue. I have witnesses to the call and that he did state he was happy with the job. When I called him to let him know the glass company wasn't covering it due to the chip and then his claimed distortion. We weren't aware of this distortion, we don't practice that nor does our glss company practice selling distoted or flawed glass. He questioned if we called and demanded we give him the number to our glass supplier so he could call They called and exlained again it has a chip and they won't cover that then he mentioned the distortion it made the poor employee feel very uncofortable  as he qustioned my integerity I have never been so insulted by someone.

      I am rejecting this response because: This a manufactures defect that was not disclosed to us by A + Auto glass. I would propose a replacement or refund.
