    no hot water in the unit and smelled like cigarette smoke. Unit A220. Retreatia refused to admit to the smell and lack of hot water

    Negative reviews by renters are not posted on their website. I left a negative review of a property I renter and it was never responded to by retreatia or posted on the property listing.

    They do not have someone on call 24/7 so any issues can't be resolved and our vacation was almost ruined multiple times because of this! We showed up at the office around 6 PM on Friday and since the office was already closed for the day, could not get our keys. The phone number on the front door just went to the office and the emergency maintenance line went to a call center elsewhere in ********. The emergency line was completely unable to assist us. Upon further inspection of my confirmation email I saw at the END of the email in small letters that we were supposed to let the office know when we would be arriving. Thankfully another guest let me into the lock box with her code so we could get our keys. This is absolutely absurd to me that they didn't automatically email us a lockbox code when we didn't pick up our keys for the day. Poor service. But it unfortunately only gets worse.We arrived at the condo and were missing the two pack n plays we requested. Our two babies had to SLEEP ON THE ***** for the night on a towel surrounded by our luggage to keep her contained. Housekeeping did bring us the pack n plays the next day and we did get a $125 refund, but I'm still completely appalled and do not recommend staying with this company.
