I have a long history of buying tents from big Agnes and find their products of excellent quality. There were two items I bought last year which were on their extended product line. They were unsatisfactory and I received a credit of $648.02 dated June 21, 2023. The case number is 982628.
When I try to utilize this credit to buy a tent that was on sale, they refused to let me use the credit on a sale item and told me I had to pay the retail price. Nothing like this was told to me at the onset of my transactions with them. I also could not find any evidence of this stipulation in the communications between us. The item I wanted to buy, was the. Copper spur5 tent, since the copper spur for was sold out till the fall. The interactions with customer service were rude & demeaning. The products manager was at best less than helpful. I'm asking that day. Allow me to use the credit on sale items as well because putting items on sale is a decision they make. Mine was a transaction that was financial and a year ago. I was not warned about this. I asked that they provide me with the copper spur five or four ASAP that should be covered by my credit. Either that or refund my credit monetarily.
