    On 06/26/2023 I had brought my 2011 ***** Xc60 for an oil change. An oil change was completed and I was provided a receipt showing amount paid for an oil change and what was checked on my vehicle and what was not. My vehicle was working fine when I went into grease monkey and I was not told there was any areas of concern or anything with my vehicle during my time at grease monkey. I left grease monkey and went home which is about 7 minutes away. I then went to leave my home that same day and my car started popping up with all these lights to service and turned off on its on shortly after. I called grease monkey the same day to advise them that after I left there shop the issues that were occurring. They told me that an oil change had nothing to do with what was wrong with my car and to take it to ***** or that it was possibly the battery, however on my documents the battery wasnt even checked so how could it have been the battery. I am very concerned and frustrated because my car was working perfectly fine when I got there and only started to not work once I left after the oil change.

    I am no longer the owner or representative of this location.  I left in October of 2020.  It has probably been the third time I have let the BBB to remove my information.

    On June 19 at 11:40 am I took my car to a **** Eclipse for an oil change at Grease Monkey located at ******************************** ******** ** *****. I have changed the oil that grease monkey shop for many years. I Parked my car outside my office located very close to Grease Monkey Around 2:30 p.m. I went out in my car and when I was driving my car turned off and icalled my insurance *************************** to ask for a tow truck. When the ******************** arrived, the tow truck driver noticed that there was oil on the tow bed and saw that the oil tank cap was missing from under the car.I took a photo where you can see the oil cap is missing. Then the truck driver take a photo with his cell phone of the place where the oil cap is missing (The tow truck driver's phone is ************ you can call him I went to grease monkey and a employee attends me and I show him the photo and I tell him what happened, at that moment a person comes out and this employee tells him what we are talking about. This person says that is not possible because I have proof that the job was done well, DO NOT lie because what you are doing is dishonest. You or someone else has removed the s**** because you want to take advantage of it. I told him that I want to see his cameras and he said no. He said our business relationship ends at this moment . I asked him if you are the manager and he said yes, I asked his name and he gave me a card where he hand wrote his name ************* nephew call Grease monkey to call to talk to them and he called and the manager ***** answered and this manager said someone used an impact tool and damaged the s**** and so they are doing something dishonest.3 days have passed since the incident and I am the one who has called several times and explained what happened and they say someone will call you

    Initially brought my vehicle in for a simple oil change. Everything seemed as normal until about 200 miles later of normal driving when I had my engine oil light come on! I then got the vehicle towed back over to this location to resolve this issue immediately after my low oil level light had set. I was told @ the time of the original appointment that my vehicle had 0 engine oil leaks and was in awesome shape! I Also have an emissions test to show how clean the vehicle was running only a week prior. I say this because when they found my vehicle low on engine oil after towing it back to them, they claimed my vehicle had a bad oil consumption issue which is not the case per my clean e-test only a week prior. I've taken my vehicle to another shop for a second opinion and found it has a very bad lower bearing noise that they deem as a bad motor at this point due to particulates in the engine oil as well as how severe the main bearing noise seems to be. To make this right, these guys simply owe me remanufactured engine assembly and the labor it will take to remove and install the unit.

    TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: THIS IS IN REGARDING TO THE **** #******** THIS VEHICLE CAME IN ON 08/03/2022 FOR AN OIL CHANGE. BEFORE DRAINING THE OIL WE CHECKED THE DIPSTICK AND THERE WAS NO OIL DIPSTICK SO WE DID OUR NORMAL OIL CHANGE SERVICE, OIL WAS ON THE FULL LINE BEFORE LEAVING OUR BAY. A WEEK LATER THE ***** COMES BACK AND HE IS A QUART LOW ON OIL AND WE TOPPED IT OFF, THE ***** LEFT AGAIN CAME BACK WITH THE ***** AND IT WAS MAKING NOISE. WE ADVISED HIM TO TAKE TOO HIS MECHANIC, HIS MECHANIC THEN CALLED ME AT THE **** AND I EXPLAINED TO HIM WHAT WE DID ON THE VEHICLE, HIS MECHANIC AGREED WITH US THAT THE ***** HAS INTERNAL DAMAGE DUE OIL STARVATION.
