    We had a storage unit here for over a year. We diligently paid every single month. Then, when we went to pick up our stuff, there was water damage to our unit. Due to a leaking roof that they didnt catch and never fixed. Several valuable items, including a television, a washer, dryer, A dresser, and some bookshelves were damaged by the water. The company made no effort to compensate us for the damage that their negligence cost. They told us it was our responsibility to file a claim through our own homeowners insurance. I feel like at the very least they should cover the cost of our deductible, but no such offer was made.

    ******* ***** is not ,and has not , been a customer, here. Her husband was. There is no leak in the roof of his unit and there has not been. The only damage he showed me was to a tv box. It was a very minor streak. He showed nothing else. All customers are required to buy our insurance or provide proof of their own insurance. He chose to use his own , thereby tying our hands to make a claim. The damage he showed me would total $0 in damage.

    June 30, 2024 3pm $230 Paid through till July 7, 2024 Access hours are 6am to 9pm I have a storage unit while in between homes. I am a cleaning lady and communicated to them when I signed that I would be at the unit often. They said they shouldn't be a problem. Yesterday I was at my unit organizing the mess from moving, was there maybe an hour or so and the man from the office scared me because I was busy and didn't notice him or how long he had been standing in front of my unit watching me. Usually they drive a golf cart so it was unexpected. He said I'd been there too long and wanted to know why. I told him and he said it was taking me too long. Surprised, I told him I paid, my bill isn't due and that when I moved in the help I had just threw my stuff in and I needed shoes, clothes and cleaning supplies but had no idea where to look so it's taking me time since I had the time any other day I was there I didn't have the time to really look so what's the problem? He walked away mumbling and threw his hands up in the air. I left and returned briefly in the am for my work supplies but when I returned to drop it off my access code was denied and the office was closed. I had no emails, text or calls from them. They live onsite and didn't answer the door. My purse is in the unit plus its difficult carrying a vacuum around with me seeing how I don't have a vehicle at the moment. I would like access to my paid unit and reimbursement for 1 day of being locked out.
