Placed an order on ************************** through *************** club for Salomon s/lab ultra glide shoes. The shoes on their first use bled color into and ruined a pair of my socks. I sent these same photos to the company, and they said to wash them, and they would not return them if they were used. Used the one time they ruined my socks. Saying theyre not responsible is ridiculous, and you cant sell people faulty items. I work in customer service and their responses are quite literally the work of simpletons. I have reached out to amer sports club and **************************. Please let me know what you think best practices are, and have a wonderful day!

I ordered several pair of shoes for the holiday because it was a good sale (invoice **********). Unfortunately, although I wear the same size in all shoes and ordered all 8.5 women's, for some reason it can be a little iffy as to the fit of Salomon's women's shoes. Every pair in this order was too big. The walking shoes fit like men's shoes of that size, plus half (they were too big to even walk in). I was really debating about the trail running shoes because they were only about a half size+ too big. But, eventually I just needed to return them as there were none of these styles available at Salomon in smaller sizes. I went online and filled out the return and got an error...I think like invoice **uldn't be found or something. So, I immediately **ntacted customer service and just asked that they authorize the return and send me a return shipping label. I did say that they were all way too big. A **uple days later I got an email saying that they required pictures of the shoes to process a return. ??? This was a little odd, as there is nothing in the return policy saying you have to send pictures to get a return. But, I did, every angle. I had never even stood in the shoes because they were so obviously unwearable. I got an email back saying that they **uldn't make a policy exception. I pointed out that there was no exception, I was just trying to do a return based on their stated policy. She then said that the shoes appeared worn. I can't imagine how they **uld **me up with that because they had not been and one pair was even white. Not even a scuff. I said the only "wearing" was to try them on (obviously, as that's how I'd know they didn't fit) and asked if she was saying you **uldn't TRY ON shoes and she said YES. Seriously. Salomon said you **uldn't check the size and try them on. This from a ** that has a hard time w/women's sizes. I still have the shoes sitting in their boxes, NEVER WORN. I also have the emails changing the return policy on the fly.
