    This company completed installation of new driveway and stairs on 10/19/21, representing themselves as transitioning from Metro Mix Flatwork, owned by *********************, to Metro Mix Concrete Flatwork, LLC, owned by *********************, daughter. We paid $12,000. A splotchy appearance on stairs and driveway was seen shortly after install. By spring 2022, the splotchy appearance had worsened, and we began to notice spalling. Contacted their general manager *****************************, and requested he come see the issue. After several attempts to reach him, he finally came 7/11/22 and told us he had no idea what the problem was but that he would contact his *******. By this time, there was spalling throughout the driveway and stairs after less than a year. ****** did not follow up but in September he agreed to come out again. This time he stated that the owner of the business, *********************, had died and because of this, they could not honor the warranty. When questioned about his affiliation with the two different business names, he stated he had no affiliation whatsoever with the new company stating there is nothing he could do. After showing him documentation of his affiliation with both companies, he later stated he was mistaken and that the owner of MMCF would contact us about the warranty. ********************* called 9/30/22 and said she absolutely would honor the warranty and come with her subcontractor the following week. The next two weeks passed and after putting us off twice, she finally sent out her husband and the subcontractor on 10/12/22. They agreed, verbally and by text to honor the warranty and outlined what they would do to repair the installation, stating they would put it in writing. Despite following up by text and phone several times, I have heard nothing. Although there are no formal complaints yet with this company, Metro Mix Flatwork has an F rating due to lack of response to complaints. I am requesting a response from ****** with warranty repairs outlined in writing.
