    ***** from Colorado Spas ordered a crane from Boomer Crane Service to replace a defective hot tub on my property. On 9/3/24, I received an email invoice #**** billed to Colorado Spas that was 2 months past due. On 9/4/24, I received the same email invoice #**** but this one changed the billing from Colorado Spas to my address. Upon receiving this invoice, I contacted Boomer Crane and let ******* know that I never ordered a crane and that it was Colorado Spas who ordered it. She told me ***** from ************* said it was my responsibility even though I did not order the crane. I reiterated I had nothing to do with the ordering or use of the crane and it was Colorado Spas responsibility to pay as they are the one who ordered it. Boomer Crane then threatened me if I dont pay by September 11th they will file a lien on my property. I dont know how I am liable for a 3rd party order of a crane to replace their defective hot tub months after the fact with an invoice that was billed to the correct party first and then changed to my address on the word of the 3rd party who ordered it.

    We were hired by ************* to use our crane services to replace a hot tub at Mr ******* home on June 13th, 2024.  We were told at that time, that the owner would be payment for the crane service.  However, we did not have Mr ******* contact information, so we sent the invoice to Colorado Spas directly.  Upon receiving Mr ******* contact information, we sent the invoice to both Mr ***** and Colorado Spas.  After sending these invoices several times, we received no response from Mr ****** we only received response from Colorado Spas, stating that Mr ***** was responsible for the bill.  Only then did we change the billing to Mr ***** direct.  He then responded immediately.  We were very kind and professional in dealing with Mr ****** explaining that we sympathize with his situation, and that this is between Mr ***** and Colorado Spas.  However, if we did not receive payment, our only choice is to file a lien on the property where service took place.  Please see the attached letter, written by our attorney, explaining what happens in these situations.  Colorado Spas has been our client for several years, and most often the owner pays, so this situation was not out of the ordinary.  This is the first time, in fact, that we have ever received a dispute from one of *************' customers.  This should be an issue between Mr ***** and Colorado Spas... Boomer Crane Service provided the crane, as requested, and is only trying to collect on an old invoice.  Please feel free to reach out with any further questions.
