I was attempting to purchase a vehicle from the dealership and they didn't disclose to me the car I was interested in buying had a salvaged title. I put down $500 to hold the car which is priced at $8800.00. I was gonna put down $5000 and finance the rest through my credit union - ******** ***** ******* ****** ************** *** *****. The dealership was salesperson was saying someone else was interested in buying the car so urgency was needed to purchase the. The banking institution I use was notified of my interest prior to purchasing the car and requested the title from A ride auto sales who didn't respond to them in over a week, A ride auto sales responded finally to my banking institution this week 10/14 of the vehicle having a salvaged title so they wouldn't finance the rest of the funds for the vehicle. I then called A ride auto sales on 10/14 requesting my $500 deposit back and the business told me NO, I couldn't get my $500 back and I was really upset and felt this was not just illegal but blatantly wrong. The dealership never disclosed the salvaged title when I on there viewing the car and said they only give a (2) wait to purchase a vehicle and the length of time I used was over 9 days. This is wrong, The dealership I believe knew the institution would deny me the funds and delayed sending the title so that they could use the (2) day rule to keep my money. I am 21 yrs old and don't have any experience in purchasing a car so i brought my older brother to view the car with me and he can confirm the dealership never disclosed anything about an salvaged title. Please can you help me get my money back, I can't ever afford to loose $500 for being mislead and treated unfairly. Thx
