    I am a designer I purchased a chair and ottoman from Jan George a ** based company on March 6th for $6,335.05. I was told at this time that the item was in stock. Over the last 2 months I have emailed over 20 times to get updates and kept getting a run around. I was finally told they were delivering the item 2 weeks ago. What was sent was a used floor model dirty chair, the ottoman was acceptable. I sent the chair back and was told they would immediately replace the used chair. This was 2 weeks go and I still so not have the item. They have $6k and after 2 months I still do not have what I was told was an in stock item. The fact that they cannot give me a straight answer and sent a used dirty chair has me concerned this is fraudulent. I have been in the design business for 12 years and this is raising a lot of red flags. I had given them a deadline of 5/3 and have heard nothing. I need the chair for this project or if they in fact just took the money I need to contact **** for fraud. I am hoping you can resolve this by simply getting me the item that was paid for.

    Had a pleasant phone and email /text conversation with Designer.

    Chair was delivered by express messenger to designer's client home and personally installed by us.

    End result was very satisfactory and everybody was happy with it.

    We placed an order with JanGeorge for $24,864.48 on October 26, 2023, and had to pay in full because they were coming from Italy. I have been trying to get an answer from Jan, the owner, for several months now and he does nothing but ignore my emails or stalls the answer as to when I can expect the fixtures. He is aware that our project can't get finalized until they have these fixtures. I have requested a refund so we can purchase alterante fixtures, but he refuses. His last response was that the fixtures were lost and they were trying to get others built here in the US, but again no confirmation as to if this can be done or when it can happen. This is urgent and I am getting no where.
