    I paid $475 to have the Lopes Annuity explained to me and my wife. Atty. B***** didn't go over the questionnaire they required me to complete or ask for the documentation the questionnaire called for (I spent two days gathering that documentation). Atty. B***** talked for approximately 35 minutes without making a clear point. During this time, I sat there with pen and paper to take notes, but she said nothing that was worth taking notes. She never mentioned the Lopes Annuity or defined it. I complained to the firm via email stating I would like a refund due to the lack of information I received. I received an email from them with the definition of the Lopes Annuity. Apparently, it came right out of a law textbook because there is no way any person without a law background could understand it. A very cold response. They claim to do Elder Law but don't specify if they are for or against seniors. Well, they took two 70 year olds for almost $500 so I say against. The whole problem could just be Atty. B***** but seeing she represents this law firm I can only assume the owning partners practice law with the same unprofessionalism as Atty. B*****. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FIRM!!!
