      Poor Supervision and Unsatisfactory
      . Less than two weeks after their work, shingles are already coming off. Additionally, the driveway pavers and decks were left stained with grease, oil from the generator, and tar. I provided them with a chance to address these issues, but they failed to rectify the problems.

      Hi there - this customer has been completely irrational. We have responded to his requests in less than a day every time. We have been back out to his home twice to remedy his complaints - and seemingly nothing is good enough. 

      His home is right on the coast, and shingles are not flying off. There was one shingle that was blowing up in the wind - that we are going to remedy. 

      If you look at this customers ****** profile - he habitually leaves companies one star reviews - and is clearly just trying to get money taken off his cost.

      On 10/23/2024, JP Carroll roofing replaced our roof. While replacing the roof, they damaged the siding on numerous windows of my home, left the wood framing exposed on certain areas, and did not put flashing down as promised/required. We noticed these issues on 10/23/2024, and reached out to the company promptly to get the issues resolved. The company came and covered the exposed wood, but did not fix all of the damaged siding. We have called the company numerous times over the last 2 months, left a number of voicemails, and tried to contact the project manager via call and text. Each time we were able to connect with the office staff via phone, we spoke with a different staff member each time who was not aware of the reason for our call, leaving us to re-explain ourselves every time. Our calls were often transferred to someone who could “help,” nobody answered, and we left voicemails that went unreturned. We have received minimal replies from the office and project manager despite our continuous attempts, and the remaining damage has not been remedied. Since the job is incomplete as the siding damage has not been fully fixed, we will not agree to authorize the roofing loan. On 12/9/2024 the project manager came to our house to view the damage and said it was too cold to fix the siding, and verbally agreed to provide us a good faith letter by the conclusion of the day that the company would repair/replace the remaining damaged siding when the weather warms. To date, 12/19/2024, we have not received this letter, have continued to make numerous efforts to connect with the company and project manager to almost no avail, and the siding remains damaged. It has been extraordinarily difficult receiving any reply, or promise of a resolution, from this company over the last 2 months. We are unwilling to approve/authorize the payment request until we receive the letter of intent promising that they will repair the damage caused to our home.

      JP Carroll replaced our roof and gutters in February 2024. They added all new plywood and then asphalt shingles on top. Since the roof replacement, JP Carroll has returned upwards of 10 times to address issues with the gutters and the roof. Most recently, we have had squirrels in our attic. They've been getting in through gaps in every one of the four dormers. To be clear - JP Carroll left gaps in the plywood that has allowed critters to access our attic in at least 4 places. There's obvious evidence of their entry - insulation is on the outside of the roof. JP Carroll has been out 5 times to address this issue. The last time the came out was on December 3 to patch holes in 3 dormers. Since their last fix, we've seen squirrels physically in our attic. The squirrels continue to get access to the attic so it's clear their fixes have been insufficient and demonstrates that the quality of the original job was extremely poor.

      We have exchanged dozens of calls and texts with JP Carroll over the last year. They say they will do something, and then we have to pester them and follow up multiple times to make it happen. Our trust has been completely eroded in the quality of their work based on the number of issues that have arisen since the replacement.

      We're asking for help getting 1) a thorough and complete investigation of the roof that identifies any gaps 2) permanent fixes applied to those gaps 3) pest control for the squirrels and any other critters that have gotten access through the roof OR a refund of an amount that will allow us to seek services from another company to remediate these issues.

      Jacqueline S*********** has been in active communication to assist in resolving all issues that may have arose from our installation. We determined that animals may be entering from a previous issue during the roof installation and also are actively using an exterminator to assist with removing any animals that may have entered into their attic. The repairs and exterminator will be covered at the cost of JP Carroll. Jacqueline S***********, our Director of Operations will continue to work with you to assure that the issues were rectified.

      Once we confirm that the issues are resolved and you are satisfied with the resolution, we would love to provide you with an ****** gift card to help with the frustration this caused.

      Contracted with J P Carrol Roofing 07/18/2024 for 2 ****x Sky lights. paid $2300.00.
      I have made approxiimatly 13 calls plus emails without reply.
      They have our money , we cannot get in contact with office , Shawn {sales guy} seems to have dissapeared.

      The skylight purchased had over a 1 month lead time which the unit owner was aware of. Unit owner(complainant) was calling the office which led to this complaint because the unit owner(complainant) was not getting a response. The Carroll rep who was out of the country and did not have access to phone or email. He unfortunately did not have his out of office reply set up with a person to reach out to while he was on PTO. Our office emailed Sean as well to reach out to the customer but failed to escalate the customer issue to the General Manager, Todd M**** when receiving multiple calls. Upon returning to work, the JP Carroll rep reached out to the customer and resolved the issue immediately within the first week back from vacation. 


      Skylights were installed according to scope and the unit owner(complainant) was satisfied.

      JP Carroll completed a new roof installation on my house at ** ********* *** ********, on Aug. 19. As far as I can tell, the roof itself is fine. However, the crew left my house looking like a slum, in the middle of a neighborhood of well-kept homes. They left wires, that were supposed to be secured to the roof, dangling over my garage door, and a section of rain gutter separated from the roof. That same day, I tried to contact my salesman to report these issues, but never heard back from him. I continued to try, unsuccessfully, to get someone from Carroll to show some interest in the problem. I have had contact with at least five different Carroll employees over the past 2 1/2 weeks, including Todd, the General Manager, and Alex, the crew chief on my job. As of this date, Sept 4, the wires are still dangling, and the gutter is still separated. I am astonished.
