  We have been at the mercy of Midas since Nov '24. They offer Snap financing when no other company will give us credit to pay for car repairs, so we've been dealing with their services. Everytime we get work done, something new is wrong: engine replaced 11/24 $5000 Flex pipe replaced 11/24 $700 purge valve replaced 1/25 $450 radiator 2/25 quoted $1500 but we got it done for $780 at a mom/pop shop (red flag there!! the quote is twice the cost) 5/25: throttle body, accelerator pedal, air injection pressure sensor $2700. after picking up the car from the last job, the SAME DAY all the lights came on the dash and the engine was literally SHAKING. they didnt tighten something quite obviously. when we called, their response was get it towed to us. i had to argue to get them to send us a tow truck. why should we pay for a tow when we JUST PICKED THE CAR UP and its not drivable. do not use this business. they are scammers and their mechanics obviously rush jobs and don't know what they are doing. i will be seeking legal action next - im not sure what rights we have but i am definately looking into it. we are now over our heads in debt to Snap for work done at Midas and the car still does not work. i would rather them say, we can't do the job, than take our money and still not fix the issues. god forbid we were driving when the engine started shaking, i don't know what would have happened. we can't even put our kids in the car safely. dont use this business.

  on 11/8/2023 Midas performed a transmission flush on my manual pickup truck using (ATF) automatic transmission fluid... On 12/4/2023 truck had to have clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing and slave cylinder replaced, possibly due to this error. Repair done by another local shop. Synchromesh fluid should have been installed, not ATF automatic transmission fluid. Waiting for Midas to rectify issue...

  Our family has been customers of ********** Midas for 6 years. In January 2023, I took my 2009 ****** ****** in for power steering leak. I was called the next day and was told the rack and pinion needed to be replaced along with a power steering hose. Paid 2200 cash for repairs. I drove the car for 2 weeks. Noticed the power steering fluid was low and leaking in my driveway. Took the car back in and was told the oil cooler and gasket needed to be replaced and power steering pressure switch needed to be replaced. I said I'll just have the car towed because I could not afford another 1800 for repairs. Pressured me into Snap Financing for repair. A week ago, I took the car in again because the power steering fluid is still leaking. I was told that no hoses to power steering were changed because I declined the service! I have receipt to show that I paid for the hose to be replaced. The 2 front desk guys said that there was no time until the next week to look at my car. I said I'll take it to another Midas. The front desk guy became flustered and said all the Midas stores in their franchise was booked with cars and I needed to return to their service garage. The mechanic came out to the front desk and said he would look at my car the next morning because he was the one who worked on it. Asked me if I wanted him to top off the power steering fluid. I have already been adding fluid when it is low. Beware. I am elderly and being taken advantage of by the characters working in this Midas shop.
