  I used Amodex a laundry stain cleaner on a brand new **** sweatshirt that got small drops of oil stains from eating noodles, the sweatshirt cost me $76.65 and the store is located at the ***** over one hour away from my house. Amodex stain cleaner: lightened almost bleached out my brand new sweatshirt. Contacted Marica via phone on 03/28/2024she stated that if I send over the damaged sweatshirt that she would be happy to reimburse me. Again, I was told via phone that my sweatshirt would be reimbursed so I paid another $15.70 on the same day once I got off the phone to the **** and shipped the sweatshirt. Now they changed their story and won't give me back my sweatshirt nor my shipping cost.

  I am responding to the claim that
  Amodex acted fraudulently to ****** ****
  
  First, we reject the claims that our
  employees are hostile and can prove quite the opposite with any emails we would
  happily provide to BBB.
  
  The claimant reached out to Amodex
  regarding a bleach-type discoloration mark on the front of her **** sweatshirt
  which she said was caused by Amodex. Our customer service representative
  offered to have her ship (at our reimbursable cost) the garment for Amodex in
  order to evaluate the claim. Sharon claims that our representative offered to pay
  for the full cost of the garment, sight unseen, which our rep never said. Our
  highly-trained representative understands that we do not have a policy for
  replacing garments, especially if we find that Amodex was not at fault. We believe the claimant misunderstood our
  representative, and that Amodex Products would reimburse the claimant for the
  garment cost and the shipping when in fact we only offered to pay for her
  shipping.
  
  Upon receiving the **** sweatshirt, our
  lab vigorously and carefully tested the garment with three applications of
  Amodex Ink and Stain Remover. We allowed the stain remover to remain on the
  garment overnight and washed it the next morning. Upon inspection we noticed no
  change in the color of the material and experienced nothing like the marks on
  the front of the sweater. We cannot conclude with any certainty what caused the
  marks (it is indeed bleach-like, but we don’t know with certainty) but our internal investigation concluded with
  100% certainty that Amodex Ink and Stain Remover did not cause her sweater
  discoloration. We have provided step-by step Amodex stain removal test
  photos of the **** sweater to the claimant and we would be happy to provide
  them to BBB if asked to prove our case.
  
  In response to the complaint remedy,
  as we found no fault in our product, we are unable to consider any
  reimbursement for the sweater. However, as our customer service representative
  offered over the phone and in writing via email we will reimburse her for the
  cost of shipping and return the item promptly. We have no desire to keep on the
  garment on our premises despite her claims and now she has received the **** Sweater and $15.70 shipping cost.
